I feel better with this as a backup!

I appreciate the help Nationwide pet insurance provides in affording to take care of my much loved dog! I hate the idea of my dog hurting himself, but know that we can afford the best care because of this insurance.

Great coverage

We are really grateful we have such great coverage from Nationwide. Our dog is a little mischievous so it helps with our bills and making sure he gets great care. Nationwide has helpful customer service representatives who always help us quickly and completely.

Nationwide has been a true blessing to our home and fur baby!

We have two mini-aussies and decided to get pet insurance on a whim because it was offered through my husband's work. We were just assuming it would be a little help with the normal yearly expenses of vaccinations, dental cleanings etc. Who would have thought we would end up with a fur baby with anxiety issues but the coverage has even assisted with that. THANK YOU for this true blessing!

Well worth the money

I have been with Nationwide/VPI for 20+ years & have never been disappointed once. The things you cover & the amt of coverage far exceeds any other pet insurance. On the rare occasion I have to call your staff is really nice, friendly & always going that extra mile to help. I hope to stay with you another 20 years:)

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
