Service as advertised!

Without Healthy Paws I would have had to put my 2 year old dog down. He ate part of his blanket and needed $5,000 emergency surgery which Healthy Paws covered, no questions asked. They even contacted me afterwards to check on his progress. They've also covered diagnosis and treatment for severe allergies. My rate has increased less than 10% in 2 years. Great service, awesome customer service and very easy to file claims.

Excellent company

I couldn't be more pleased. My dog began having seizures and we opted for brain surgery to remove a tumor and Healthy Paws reimbursed us no questions asked. It is easy to submit a claim. I received the reimbursement shortly after. Their rates were the most reasonable. I am happy with the plan I selected and there are no limits. They even follow up on the health of my beautiful dog. So happy I have them during this difficult time. I am so pleased.

Still crazy after all these years

We loved Healthy Paws 6 years ago when our coverage paid for major surgery and a life-saving diagnosis for our newly rescued dog. She just came through another major surgical procedure last month. Healthy Paws was quick to review our claim and expedited payment so I could cover our credit card bill. Their reps are always professional, friendly and compassionate. One of the smartest investments we've ever made! Wish they covered humans!

Healthy Paws exceeded all my expectations...I highly recommend them!

We purchase insurance and hope we never have to use it but when we do we expect the claims process to be quick and painless. Healthy Paws Pet Insurance has exceeded all my expectations. Their customer services was 1st class and their claims process was extremely quick and easy. This being my first claim (hopefully last), they helped me through the claims process which allowed for a quick reimbursement of my vet expenses. If you want world class service, I highly recommend Healthy Paws Insurance.

Our two French bulldogs have been insured with Healthy Paws since the day we brought them home – best decision ever! Their app makes it so easy to file claims, and the peace of mind I get from knowing my pups are covered is worth every penny. One of my pups recently had to have invasive surgery, and not only was my claim paid promptly, but they personally checked in to see how she was recovering. Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
