Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My little baby girl almost die she swallow a piece of nylon bone and it got stuck in her intestine. The whole thing was insane expensive and it was a very scary and stressful situation. Thanks God I choose Healthy Paws as her insurance, they have been more then great, the claim process was fast and the customer service is incredible. As my dog Sadie began to get get older, I started thinking about getting pet insurance. I did a great deal of research before I chose Healthy Paws, and I never regretted my choice! My baby developed a number of issues down the road including cancer, for which she needed surgery. Her medical bills began stacking up and I could never have handled them without Healthy Paws. They are honest, straightforward, and quick. No hidden fees or statements. I paid my deductible, my vet faxed over my claim form for me, and the check came directly to me within7-10 days. They paid 70% of the bill just as they said. A couple of times I had to call with a question, and each time a very nice lady answered the phone immediately. No recordings or voice mail! My vet's office was so impressed they stopped recommending the plan they always did, and now recommend Healthy Paws!

Could not have saved my dogs without this insurance and it could not be easier. All I need do is take a picture of the vet bill with my phone and hit "submit". A reembursement check arrives about a week later. So thankful for this insurance!

Before our French Bulldog, Frankie, came to our home I researched pet insurances knowing that Frenchies tend to have issues over their lifetime. I chose Healthy Paws and cannot say enough about them. Frankie recently had soft palate surgery and had to have his nostrils enlarged. The breathing issues were causing stomach problems as well. We had been to the vet and under different medications for several months. I was referred to a specialist who recommended the surgery plus biopsies, bloodwork, x-rays and ultrasound. I submitted my claims to Healthy Paws and immediately received a confirmation that they were being reviewed. Within days my claim was approved and checks were on the way. In total I have received over $5,222 back out of $6689. The amount I paid was my yearly deductible of $100 plus 10% copay of covered items, which are the levels I chose for Frankie's coverage. I only wish that "people" health insurance would be as simple to deal with as my pet's insurance!

I've been a member with Healthy Paws since 2012 and have always loved their service. It was easy to sign up with reasonable rates and kind, accessible customer representatives. Just recently my corgi tore his ACL and had to have surgery and I was in a bit of a bind. I had recently become unemployed and looking at the costs racking up was very stressful. Healthy Paws to the rescue! I'd never had the need to actually file a claim before this and was a little concerned. But the process was so user friendly and the representatives so wonderful, I had no problems at all. They were so kind and helpful and have even checked in to see how my pup was doing after his surgery <3 Thank you so much for all your help Healthy Paws, y'all're truly amazing. I would 100% recommend Healthy Paws to anyone looking into pet insurance.
