I'm so thankful we chose Healthy Paws!

My 1 and a half year old French Bulldog was diagnosed with epilepsy after a series of seizures and a three day vet hospital stay. The team at Healthy Paws was fantastic, they always called us back within a few minutes with clear answers to MY coverage questions and processed our claims very quickly and efficiently. It was once less thing we had to worry about during a very stressful time. They also reached out to check on our dog, which was really thoughtful and very much appreciated. This team is great and I am so thankful we chose Healthy Paws!

Healthy Paws 2016

I have had Healthy paws insurance for my dog since 2013, knowing that there was a possibility at some point that she would need medical treatment I could not afford on my own. I pay $33 a month and have a 90/10 split with Healthy Paws which came in really handy when my dog started developing partial seizures and needed some very expensive tests in order to confirm her diagnosis. I like that I didn't have to choose between my dogs health and going broke. Healthy paws processed the claim within 4 days and mailed me a check within a week. I have never had a problem trying to get them to cover something, or had them split hairs over what could be covered. Highly recommend to any pet owner looking to insure their pet.

Outstanding company!

Absolutely love Healthy Paws! I reviewed numerous pet insurance companies before insuring my chocolate lab puppy. I chose Healthy Paws and I've never regretted the decision. Claims are handled quickly, questions are answered within a few hours, and the customer service is amazing. The 90% reimbursement level was a big selling point for me. I chose a plan with $100 and 90% reimbursement. I've filed three claims with them since signing up in 2013, and all three were fantastic. I recommend them 100%. I've even talked my friend into signing up her puppy, and she's thrilled with them too.

Efficient and Caring Insurance Company

After many hours of research, I chose Healthy Paws for my 2 precious labs and am so glad I did. A couple months ago I brought my black lab to the vet because she looked as if she wasn't feeling well. She seemed to lack energy and was laying around much more than usual. She would watch her sister (yellow lab) fetch in the yard as she laid quietly on the deck watching her with those sad, brown eyes. I knew she wanted to join in on the fun as she occasionally would chase after one of the balls, but she wasn't able to play for more than a couple of minutes. The vet decided to take x-rays and found that my Katie had hip dysplasia. I was shocked because I had always thought that was something that happened to older dogs and my dog was only five. After finding out from the vet how much pain my dog was probably in, I knew that I would have to see a specialist about performing surgery. I quickly called Healthy Paws Insurance and the woman I spoke with was very reassuring and let me know that they would indeed cover, after my $100 deductible, 90% of the bill. Considering the total hip replacement was over $6,000, I was amazed. I honestly thought it was too good to be true. But, they were true to their word. They even made a direct payment to the veterinary hospital, so I wouldn't have to write a check for the entire amount! I am so impressed with the caring people that work there and the company as a whole. As I am writing this review, my wonderful dog is laying beside me, shaved hip and all, looking up at me with those beautiful, brown eyes. I know that in a couple months she will be fetching balls with her sister. I am so thankful that I decided to get Healthy Paws Insurance. I will never be without it. Having this wonderful insurance gives me piece of mind that I will always be able to do what is in the best interest of my babies.

Healthy paws saved my pupper

I thought I was going to lose my best friend. My Dogo Argentino coco - that I rescued from a pound as a puppy 8 years ago - wasn't able to stand. It happened almost immediately. Something was wrong. We brought her to the ER - where she would spend the next 5 days - trying to figure out what's happening and how to treat it. It was an auto immune disease. Her body started literally attacking herself for the inside out - and she was at risk of internal bleeding that couldn't be stopped if it happened. We thought we were going to lose her. The vet gave us a quote on day one saying this might cost $5000. I didn't even let her finish her sentence as i told her I don't care. It's because I didn't - we had gotten healthy paws pet insurance 2 years ago - and knew they would cover us. They already covered her her ACL surgery the year before without a single question. Cocos home now and is going to have a long recovery - but I didn't have to worry if we could afford to keep my dog alive because of money - never even needed to cross my mind
