Fast Processing and Individualized Attention

One of the first things that I liked about Healthy Paws Pet Insurance was that they allowed me to submit all of my dog's records and did a medical review to make sure that she would have no pre-existing conditions. When Pixel had her first claim (an incident of chocolate toxicity), Healthy Paws processed her claim just as they should have, and they processed it in under 24 hours of receiving it. My experiences with Healthy Paws since the first claim have also been very positive. They process quickly (again, usually e-mailing me an Explanation of Benefits within 24 hours of receiving a claim). And, everything that should be covered is covered. I enrolled Pixel in Healthy Paws because I liked their coverage options, and since she's been enrolled, I've been happy with their claims handling and payment. Plus, I've been pleased with the personalized follow-up that they do. After every claim, a representative has e-mailed me with a kind letter asking how Pixel is doing. (They even encourage you to send in a picture of your pet!) I have already recommended Healthy Paws Pet Insurance to several friends. It's comforting to know that I can afford to take care of my little girl in an emergency.

Simply amazing pet insurance.

About four months ago my great Great Dane escaped and was unfortunately hit by a car, but survived with damage to his left hind limb. Thanks to having Healthy Paws pet insurance, however, I was able to go full speed ahead on getting him the surgery he needed to keep his leg. Not only did they pay for almost all of the surgery, they were extremely helpful along the way and made it completely hassel-free. This was nice during a time when emotions were running high. Now my dog is receiving physical therapy (hydrotherapy), and this is also covered by Healthy Paws. Signing up with them when I first adopted my boy was the best decision I have ever made. THANK YOU HEALTHY PAWS.

EXCEPTIONAL, EXCELLENT PET INSURANCE

If there was one company to compare healthy paws insurance with, it would be Nordstrom. They go above and beyond in their customer service. All questions are promptly answered whether it be through e-mail or phone. There's no catches with this company, they are upfront about what they'll cover. My dog ended up having to go to the emergency room for various complications, died, but was resuscitated. He was hospitalized for several days, racking up a bill of approximately $3,000+. The claim was processed within the day, reimbursement check was in the mail within a week! I got back $2700+. They are great with following up before and after the claim, seem to show care for our pets. I cannot recommend this company enough, this is the insurance company to get for your dog! Thank you Healthy Paws!!!

Best Overall Coverage

Healthy Paws provides the most comprehensive coverage there is on the market. One annual deductible, not a per-incident deductible and now there are unlimited lifetime benefits for your pet without the per-incident limit. If you pet ever becomes seriously ill (cancer, etc), nothing else will cover the bill like Healthy Paws. There co-insurance is that you pay the 'office visit', which is manageable. The only reason I rated a 9 instead of a 10 is that your policy will go up by 9% per year as your pet ages. That is significant.

A+++ Great Policy, Great Customer Service

I recently used my Healthy Paws insurance policy to help pay for my dogs $4,000 TTA surgery (ACL repair). There is no way that I could have afforded the surgery without them. From my initial sign up to every claim the staff has been excellent. Leslie was quick to answer every question that I had and sent out all claim information and payment super quick. Would highly recommend!
