Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Healthy Paws have been absolutely fantastic! I'm so glad we are with them. My 11 month old pup spent 4 days at the emergency vet and was so ill that we thought he wouldn't be coming home. Having the peace of mind to be able to say 'yes' to all the tests the vet wanted to run allowed us to focus on our furbaby. I'm not sure we could have said yes if we didn't have insurance as the test costs were expensive and extensive. Thankfully our dog is home with us now and back to good health. Thank you, Healthy Paws for being there when we needed it.

I have found Healthy paws to be extremely simple to use and prompt to address all questions or concerns. The claim process is very simple. I use their app on my phone. Initially your vet will need to provide basic inform to Healthy pays, but afterwards, the claim is as simple as taking a picture of the bill and sending it using the app. When I discovered a reimbursement check was missing, Healthy Paws quickly provided another one. I have been very happy with the simplicity of submitting a claim and their quick responses to issues.

I have been with Healthy Paws 2 years and have 2 pets insured with them. I have probably submitted about 10 claims between my 2 dogs. Most were small claims with 1 being a major surgery. In all cases, my claims were resolved and checks received in around 2 weeks. Healthy Paws has been very good to my pet family.

I cannot recommend Healthy Paws highly enough. My dog, Franklin, had a series of mast cell tumors that had to be removed, which necessitated a battery of additional testing, hospital stays, and additional cancer screens. All told, the cost was well over $7,000, and I had to submit two dozen requests for reimbursement. Healthy Paws took care of every single one of them, without complaint, haggling, discussion about what was covered, etc. They are the best.When your pet is sick, you have enough stress to worry about without having to consider whether you can afford treatment.
