Our German Shepherd, Sophie, was diagnosed with cancer. Healthy Paws helped us to afford the burden of expensive care for her. Without Healthy Paws, our beloved Sophie would not be with us. We just could not have afforded to pay for the surgery, chemotherapy, and follow up care. We are grateful every day that Sophie is still with us. She is a cancer survivor who is vibrant and full of life for years following her initial diagnosis. She is a joy and a light in the lives of everyone she has touched with her beauty, sensitivity, and pure joyous tail-wagging celebration of life. Having your pet in the hospital is stressful enough and the last thing you want to do is to make a decision based on a financial basis. Recently my dog got very sick and I remembered I had him insured with healthypaws. I called them and asked about my coverage. All was good. The costs maxed out my credit card and i asked if they could help me with prioritizing my claim. Took 2hrs to be filed and 6 days to receive the check. My vet bill was $5800 and I had $4988 covered. Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is a very professional and trustworthy pet insurance company. It is always unfortunate when your furry loved ones get sick or have an accident unexpectedly. We purchased this insurance for our puppy after a recommendation from a friend who had to pay out of pocket expenses for 2 major surgeries after accidental ingestion of foreign objects. Although at the time our puppy was very healthy, we decided to purchase an insurance plan for her just in case. After reading the positive online reviews, we decided to go with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance and have not regretted the decision ever since. Four years later, our beloved Goldendoodle has been unfortunately diagnosed with Addison's Disease which requires lifelong corticosteroid treatment and undergone a recent major surgery. These times can be very stressful both in your concern for the health of your pet and the financial burden on your family. Having Healthy Paws Pet Insurance definitely helps alleviate a lot of that stress. Their claims submission process is very easy to do online and their processing of the claim is very rapid and detailed. I would highly recommend this company to pet owners!

Shockingly good service! My pittie (Lambeau) was diagnosed with skin cancer :-( Pre-op and surgery ran a few thousand dollars. Healthy Paws cut checks almost immediately. To ever have to make a decision on care for your furry best friends, based on funds - Healthy Paws insurance is a wonderful service to have. 5 stars!

We have been customers of Healthy Paws since 2012. Both of our dogs are enrolled. We have used the insurance many times but recently one of our dogs was diagnosed with liver cancer. It took a lot of diagnostics including complete bloodwork, an ultrasound, and finally a very costly surgery. Over the past couple of months I have submitted nearly $9000 worth of claims. It is simple--snap a picture of your detailed receipt and submit via the Healthy Paws app. I have never been questioned about anything on any claim. Everything except the office visits are covered including expensive medication and inpatient care. The claims are processed usually within 5-7 days and I am reimbursed within a week of the claim being processed. It is the best company for pet insurance by far. If we didn't have this I don't know that we would be able to provide our dogs with such high level care. It is comforting to know that we don't have to think about cost before agreeing to expensive care. We can do whatever needs to be done regardless of cost.
