Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I have only had my puppy for a short time before I realized that I may need insurance of some kind in order to properly care for him without worry. I did a lot of research before I did any purchasing. Heathy Paws was by far the best choice for my buck. What I didn't know is that the customer service would be so wonderful! I feel truly blessed that I chose this insurance. Recently my puppy had to have surgery, they not only kept me in the loop about the processing of my paperwork, but they called the vet to get needed forms and records in order to process my claim. my puppy had his surgery last week and I received my reimbursement today! They even sent me an email asking how he is doing. Incredible caring service! Love this company!

I can't say enough good things about Healthy Paws. When you get a terrible diagnosis for your beloved pet (and even worse, when two of your pets get a terrible diagnosis within a year of each other) and you are just feeling completely shattered, you don't want to start calculating what you can actually afford in order to help them. You want to be able to pass your credit card over to the vet and say "Luckily we have pet insurance. What is the best medical route for our pet?" Healthy Paws makes it easy- it's easy to choose the level of insurance you want (calculating deductible vs premium levels), it's easy to submit a claim (super handy app on phone, usually I do it before I've even left the vet office) and it's easy to get your coverage payment. Their underwriters do a very reasonable job when it comes to pre-existing conditions. Their customer service people are pleasant and caring. (I just got a personal email from them asking how our dog was doing post surgery) I recommend Healthy Paws to all my friends and recommend getting it early on during your pet's life. You will not regret it.

Healthypaws has been nothing short of excellent when helping us deal with several different issues with our beloved yellow lab. Unfortunately, she has been a little accident prone in her early life and has needed more veterinary care than expected or wanted. Healthypaws hasn't let us down and was always quick with response and reimbursement as well as concern for Ellie's well being. We would not hesitate whatsoever in referring Healthypaws to others...and will certainly enroll any of or future pets with Healthypaws!

I started looking for insurance for my Boston Terriers after my elderly Pug passed. I was able to provide her with the best care, but it wiped me out financially. Over $8,000 later, I received a check in the mail from Healthy Paws to cover 70% of the cost. The peace of mind that came from being able to get him the best care at 30% of the cost is a feeling I will never forget. I am so blessed to have found Healthy Paws, and to still have my little guy with me today, receiving his SECOND course of life saving treatment right now. I knew that getting him his care was not something I needed to dread financially because Healthy Paws would significantly ease the burden. Watching him run and play over the last two years has been priceless and is worth more to me than anything I could imagine. I just cherish him. I am now a life long customer and recommend Healthy Paws to everyone who I know with pets.

I've had this Healthy Paws pet insurance for about l l/2 yrs. My little dog got sick before 4th of July, 2017. She swallowed a rock which caused pancreatitis. She had to be in the hospital for l l/2 days. Her bill was over $2300. I filed the claim on July 4th and received an answer and explanation of benefits within less than l hour. We received the ck on July 8th, for the full amount as per the policy! Such a quick response. Also a get well card in the mail yesterday. Very happy with that process. I believe the insurance coverage is well worth the premiums I'm paying. We previously lost a dog after paying $l0,000 for 2 surgeries. That's why I decided to try pet insurance again.
