Very Happy
I have a 2 yr old golden that suffered a partial tear to her Cruciate Ligament running around the yard. I tried to avoid surgery and opted to crate rest her for a six weeks at vets suggestion. She had minimal improvement and continued to be lame. She was referred to a specialist for possible surgery. Since she is a young dog we decided to proceed. She had a TPLO procedure done 7/19 . The surgery was almost $5200. Thankfully I had Healthypaws insurance with the 90 % coverage plan. Healthypaws covered $4600 of the cost. She is now just 4 weeks post op and doing great. I was able to process my claim on line and submit my vet paperwork on line. I have always had insurance on my goldens for the past 25 years. I have had AKC and Pets Best. Healthypaws is by far the easiest and have yet been denied any condition I have submitted for. I like that they have an annual deductible , not per incident like they did with Pets Best. They don't cover the "Vet Examination " portion but that is minimal compared to treatment, procedures & medications
