Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Healthy Paws is the BEST! I have had other pet insurance and they are by far so SUPERIOR. No questions asked, not a lot of paperwork to submit, just your bill and they understand and pay within a couple of weeks. They have paid me over $50k for the care of my cat! Their app is fantastic. I take picture of my bill and within minutes they start processing. My COMPLIMENTS to the owner, founder and all their staff for helping me and my cat.

Healthy Paws has saved both my dogs lives - and saved me! I have one dog with a severe heart condition whose monthly medication bill alone is well over $100, not to mention all the echocardiograms, x-rays and bloodwork. My other dog has been a habitual rock eater - costing thousands of dollars on surgeries. With Healthy Paws the claim process is simple and seamless, and refunds are within days. In addition they even check in to see how my dogs are doing - and I am not talking automated messages - I mean personal checking in with real care. I love this organization! Four years ago a tiny puppy became a family member.. It was clear from the day we met that we would do just about anything for her. A friend recommended pet insurance, after a bit of research we choose Healthy Paws just in case we needed it. We needed it! And thank goodness we choose Healthy Paws, they have been GREAT! From dog bites, to an ongoing GI issue, bladder/ear infections and most recently a ruptured tumor Healthy Paws has had us covered! I easily submit claims on the app and we are always reimbursed faster than expected. We wouldn't know what to do without Healthy Paws they allow us to focus on the healing not the bill. I recommend Healthy Paws to everyone I know, if you are reading this review you too should feel good about choosing Healthy Paws for your pet. I bought Healthy Paws insurance for my Teacup Yorkie cause it had really great reviews and previous customers said they actually pay. Other insurances I used in the past were awful but Healthy Paws for sure gets 5 stars. They were there for me for all my visits, were reasonably priced and actually paid me the 80% of what they covered. Recently my fur baby went into the hospital for a week in the critical care unit. It cost me $9000 for treatment before he came home. Healthy Paws representatives were friendly and helped me get my claims paid. I received over $7000 back. Unfortunately my baby passed away a week later, I filed his last bill which included his cremation services on the bill. Without me having to call Healthy Paws and tell them what happened, they payed my claim, sent me an email that they were sorry for my loss and went ahead and cancelled his insurance and issued a refund for that month. That meant a lot to me because it was going to be a hard phone call to make, but they were on top of things and made the process easy for me. To go above and beyond that, a week later I received a card in the mail with their deepest sympathies and a bunch of the employees signed it. Their caring and kindness meant so much to me during this hard time. The next pet I get will definitely be insured by Healthy Paws insurance!
