best service ever
I have had pet insurance with healthy paws for 6 years. They have provided the best service and care for my dog. Bear has had 2 tplo surgeries and ocd surgery on his shoulder plus other problems. They have promptly paid for all his care per policy and covered his rehab care even accupuncture and cold laser. Fantastic company He had surgery at less than one year, 5 years and 6 years I know we have cost them a lot of money but they have not cancelled us .

Will always be grateful for Healthy Paws
In October of last year our sweet little Ellie was diagnosed with diabetes and developed cataracts in May of 2017. Ellie is a mini schnauzer and she was 7 years old. She has been covered by Healthy Paws for years. Once we became aware of her diagnosis, we quickly realized how lucky we were to have enrolled her in Healthy Paws. She needed very expensive surgery for her eyes. Healthy Paws covered it all and continue to cover all needed mess as well as Ellie's diabetes needs. I recommend Healthy Paws everywhere I go. Rates are reasonable and if you ever need them ,they will be there for your beloved pet. I know. They have been there for Ellie

Experience has taught me that all pet owners need
I have come to realize that if you own a dog, you need pet insurance. This is my experience with Healthy paws. I purchased pet insurance with Healthy Paws when I adopted my five year old Mini Schnauzer. After many years of perfect health he came down with various diseases: pancreatitis, a heart condition, pneumonia, a "vascular event" which I interpret as a stroke, cataracts, and diabetes. These resulted in several multi-day stays in ICU, cataract surgery to regain his vision, and many procedures. He is on several expensive maintenance medications. I have submitted 61 claims to date via their app. All were handled expeditiously. The insurance covers his procedures and meds. I am grateful to have this insurance and woudl highly recommend it.
Monthly Cost
$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.
Coverage
One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.
You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.
Deductible
You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750*
*Choice depends on age of the pet
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
