Great Insurance company!

Healthy Paws Insurance has been a outstanding relief for us. We have needed their financial protection for both our dogs. We cannot say enough great things about this company. They make it very easy to file a claim and they respond in a very timely manner. Their caring and concern for our pets and us is truly genuine and appreciated.

Best pet insurance available !!!

Healthy paws has been amazing, my French bulldog has allergies and I have always paid for any of his shots for medications with no questions asked. He is three years old and recently had to have emergency back surgery. They contacted me the next day after I submitted my claim to check on him and to let me know they were processing my claim promptly and it was completed within a few days !!! They were concerned about his well-being and never once questioned the surgery or any of the procedures that were done on his behalf ! Truly an amazing company!!!

Felt Relieved

After many years of having my dogs enrolled in another top rated pet insurance company and getting two new pets this year, I decided to look around for another carrier. I wasn't really happy with the insurance I had as the return on the claim wasn't which and was very disappointing. In February I enrolled my first dog and in April the second. It was unfortunate that a few weeks ago our Italian Greyhound puppy jumped off the couch and broke his leg playing. I felt confident that most of what I had to spend would be covered as it was over $6000. To my surprise after about a week and a half later my claim was completed and most of my money was being reimbursed. It gave me a feeling of relief that most of it was covered. Many companies claim so much and one has to carefully read the fine lines of what is written in their policy to ensure their return will meet their expectations. Then about a week later from when the claim was completed, I received an email from customer service asking how my dog was progressing which really blew me away to see someone took the time to put a personal touch of caring into an email. Something that my other insurance company has never done. I thank them for that. One thing I only wish any pet insurance company would do is to pay directly to the hospital and send the balance to the client as they do with human medicine. If one can't use a credit card to pay for the services at the time, then one would need to pay the full amount upfront which is still a financial burden. Isn't this also why we should have insurance ? It would be great to have veterinary medicine work along with the pet insurance companies on this issue. Just my thoughts. Thank you Healthy Paws !

Very Happy

I have a 2 yr old golden that suffered a partial tear to her Cruciate Ligament running around the yard. I tried to avoid surgery and opted to crate rest her for a six weeks at vets suggestion. She had minimal improvement and continued to be lame. She was referred to a specialist for possible surgery. Since she is a young dog we decided to proceed. She had a TPLO procedure done 7/19 . The surgery was almost $5200. Thankfully I had Healthypaws insurance with the 90 % coverage plan. Healthypaws covered $4600 of the cost. She is now just 4 weeks post op and doing great. I was able to process my claim on line and submit my vet paperwork on line. I have always had insurance on my goldens for the past 25 years. I have had AKC and Pets Best. Healthypaws is by far the easiest and have yet been denied any condition I have submitted for. I like that they have an annual deductible , not per incident like they did with Pets Best. They don't cover the "Vet Examination " portion but that is minimal compared to treatment, procedures & medications

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet
