Healthy Paws is Absolutely the Best!

I've had this insurance for three years now. The claims are always reviewed in a timely manner and I get my reimbursement quickly. I love the way I can customize my deductible and percent covered so as to fit the premium into my budget. I recommend Healthy Paws to every pet owner I meet. Furthermore, they actually seem interested in my dog's health and well being. Absolutely a great company!

Why can't humans have coverage this great?

I have a six year old Hungarian vizsla who needed two pre-malignant tumors remover, and after everything, surgery, labs, X-rays, medications, the bill was in excess of 4,000$, and I kid you not, Healthy Paws covered what they promised- 90% of all of it. They are the best! Highly recommended!!!

Best Insurance Available!

They are quick in reimbursement.My doggie needed to have some lumps removed and due to the location it required a specialist. I am very happy with the policy as it allows me to make the best decision for my pet and not be worried about cost.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $90, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $100, $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
