Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My new Great Dane puppy came down with Pnemonia and needed blood work, x-rays, antibiotics. I submitted my claim to Healthy Paws and was not only surprised at how fast my reimbursement check arrived ( one week) but I also received an email from Healthy Paws asking how my dog was and wishing him a speedy recovery! I thought that was amazing but 2 weeks later my dog was attacked by another dog at the park and I had to repeat the entire process from Vet visit to submitting another claim and to my surprise I received my reimbursement check within 1 week along with another follow up email checking on my dog. Healthy Paws is affordable, quick and amazing! I highly recommend them!

Healthy Pets is the best! I've heard horror stories from many friends about their pet insurance from refusing to cover a pet, fighting for the reimbursements, complicated paperwork and rude customer service. I faxed my paperwork to Healthy Paws and had a reimbursement check in less than 1 week. Friendly and timely communications and a follow up with well wishes.

My dachshund recently had spine surgery for a herniated disc. I never filed a claim and Meredith walked me through it. She reassured me and was very understanding in what I was going through. The first claim took a little longer because they had to review all medical records of my dog. Meredith called all the hospitals that my dog visited since he was a puppy. Got all the records. I did not have to do a thing. Within a few days, I got an email letting me know that my reimbursement was coming in the mail! The second claim was for the surgery. Within 2 days, I got an email saying the check was coming soon...again! WOW! Service is excellent! I had nothing but superb customer service from the staff at Healthy Paws. They called and emailed me throughout my dog's surgery and recovery. They wanted to make sure I got my claims in and that my dog was recovering. These folks are awesome. My pup had to go to an emergency weekend clinic and stay overnight. She also needed medication and lab work. The staff at the clinic faxed our claims over to Healthy Paws, and we got our reimbursement very, very quickly (couple of days). We received an email from Healthy Paws right after our reimbursement, asking how the dog was doing. It was such a nice and appreciated personal touch.

Words cannot express how pleased I am with Healthy Paws insurance. My little year old puppy Lola got herself into a lot of trouble recently with a double bowel obstruction. Apparently, she is a goat in dachshund clothing and likes to eat just about everything and anything that she can swallow. Needless to say we were in a state of near panic when she became very ill.
