Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My experience with Healthy Paws has been nothing short of amazing. Insurance companies are typically known for bad customer service and exploiting loopholes to not pay out claims. Well, healthy paws is nothing like that. They have pleasantly surprised me from day 1. Not only are their policies fair and affordable, they are also great at customer service. They have paid out several claims for vet emergencies, including the most recent one for an ultrasound and many tests for my dog’s stomach issues. A couple days after entering the claim and when they processed it they reached out to me to check in on my dog’s progress! Not even my medical insurance company check up on me lol. Healthy Paws reimburses me on time (fast) each time. They are definitely the company to go with for peace of mind knowing your pet will be able to get best medical service around.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to Healthy Paws Pet Insurance! I have carried this insurance since 2011, hoping I would never need it! However, my Keeshond, Riley, has recently been through cruciate ligament tears in both his back knees. His problems required several surgeries and I was distraught at seeing him in such pain. It's enough to have to deal with a loving pet experiencing pain and unhappiness, but medical expenses on top of that is extremely stressful and overwhelming! Healthy Paws was there for me, not only with relief from expenses, but email support and caring! Thanks to Healthy Paws, Riley is slowly getting back to his "puppy" personality - no running and jumping, but snuggling and sitting by me instead of by himself in a corner. Healthy Paws has proved to me why they are rated the #1 pet insurance! I have a 9 year old lab/pit mix that faced a gnarly gastro infection which ended up being diagnosed as pancreatitis. It was a really emotionally exhausting week and a half of him spending every day at the vet. Healthy Paws made worrying about the blow to my bank account the last thing on my mind allowing me to focus on the care Mister needed to get him back on his feet. When all was said and done Misters bills were over $3,000 and thanks to Healthy Paws I only had to cove 20% of that. They were not only quick to process, approve and reimburse the claims but even reached out via email to check in on him. There's no other insurance company i'd recommend.

Unbelievably good service! My dog has had a rough year after being hit by a car and then (unrelated) tearing her ACL. Both required surgery. HealthyPaws immediately reimbursed me for all medical treatment with no questions asked. They then followed up with a personal email to ask how the dog was doing after both surgeries. I wish human health insurance was this good!!

This company went above and beyond my expectations when it came to caring for my little dog. He needed an expensive surgery on his back and they called the vet and authorized everything he needed to get him on the road to recovery. I can’t say enough good things about Healthy Paws when it comes to getting you the care your pet needs.
