Healthy Paws is a lifesaver!

My little Frenchie broke his leg. His vet bills were almost $7,000 for a tiny fracture. Thankfully I had Healthy Paws Insurance for him and they covered 90% of the costs. It was such a relief to not have to worry about the cost of my dog's treatment.

The peace of mind you need to take care of your pets, no matter what.

Healthy Paws is not only easy to use, but the policies are straight-forward and easy to understand. I never felt confused about what would be covered and what wouldn't be, and submitting claims is so simple. When our large breed dog needed knee surgery, Healthy Paws not only took care of our claim promptly, but checked in to see how our pup was doing. We will always insure our pets with Healthy Paws.

Best decision I ever made

Healthy paws is the best insurnace I have ever dealt with. They put forth the effort to make sure you and your pet are taken care of and even send emails to check in on the pets. The staff/customer service representatives are amazing and this was hands down the best decision I've ever made.

Refused to cover my dog

Terrible customer service and refused to cover my dog. I sent in his records and recieved an email saying they'd gotten them but when I tried to file a claim a few months later, they first said they didn't have the records. Then they said they needed records from before I even had the dog. Ended up cancelling the policy for all three of my dogs because they would not cover the one.

Healthy Paws is the best pet insurance available today!

My experience with Healthy Paws has been phenomenal since day one. My two dogs are covered and both have had major surgery which were covered by Healthy Paws. Their claim process is swift, easy and they respond quickly when more documentation is needed. My claims are made via direct deposit into my bank account. They have even sent me emails asking how my babies were doing after their surgeries. I recommend Healthy Paws to all pet parents.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
