Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Healthy Paws is nothing short of amazing. I did SO much research when I was first looking into pet insurance, and when I chose them, probably like other pet parents I said to myself “well here goes nothing. I hope this helps.” Thanks to them I have saved thousands (literally.) thanks to them, one of my rescue dogs Lily, had to have ACL replacement surgery, and they covered it! Which means we only had to pay out $200 bucks! I can’t thank the whole team enough at Healthy Paws for doing what they do. The customer service is amazing, the all is is SO easy to use and navigate, and after her surgery, they even checked up on her! 100% best company to go with.

I love Healthy Paws! They genuinely care about our pets. It is quick and easy to file claims and get reimbursements. Communication with the company is fantastic by both phone and email. All pets need health insurance just like humans, and Healthy Paws is the best out there!

My cat, Cheese, recently ate a ribbon and needed a lot of medical care. I was SO thankful to have him covered by Healthy Paws! He had experienced some health difficulties previously, before I had him insured, and it was just awful. Every procedure I had to think about money, and it was terrible to be in the position of weighing the cost against my pet's life. I am a student, and I ended up spending literally all of my savings to pay for his care. This time when he was ill, I could just focus on making decisions that were best for Cheese, without having to worry that I would bankrupt myself in the process. I will agree with the negative reviews that the premiums do go up SUBSTANTIALLY each year. My pets are both still fairly young, so it's still worth it. Even if it gets to $100/month, I will probably continue the policies, just so that if/when they get sick, I can avoid worrying about money and focus on my pet's health. Also, I have had great experiences with customer service every time I've called. I don't think they are quite as responsive by email, but I've never had to wait on hold for a long time and everyone I've spoken to has been very helpful and friendly. I recommend Healthy Paws to all of my friends!

No questions asked, not a lot of paperwork to submit, just your bill and they understand and pay within a couple of weeks. They have paid me over $50k for the care of my cat! Their app is fantastic. I take picture of my bill and within minutes they start processing. My COMPLIMENTS to the owner, founder and all their staff for helping me and my cat.
