I had heard bad things about pet insurance in the past, but after reading some of the positive reviews online for Healthy Paws, I decided to sign up for my eight year old kitty. 45 days later, I was stunned when I came home and found her lying unresponsive on the couch. I rushed her to the nearest emergency room and she was found to have severe pancreatitis and diabetes - two problems that had been completely absent on all of her previous labwork just two months before. Her case was so severe that she required an oxygen chamber and temporary feeding tube placement, and all in all, the cost of the hospitalization was $12,500 plus medication expenses and follow-ups. When I filed my claim, Healthy Paws gave me NO problems whatsoever, and the person I talked to on the phone (Ryan) was so compassionate and helpful. Within a week, I got the check for the hospital reimbursement, and the other checks came shortly after. I love my cat from the bottom of my heart and she's been there with me through so many of my own medical problems - I am so glad I signed up for Healthy Paws so that I was able to save her life, as well, when the time came that she needed me. The most amazing part is there are NO annual limits or exclusions. Healthy Paws covered her hospitalization, surgery, medications, glucose meter and supplies, and will continue to do so. Best insurance company
I’ve tried a few insurance companies, and Healthy Paws is by far the best. Not only is their coverage fantastic, but the company truly cares. When my dog was sick, they took care of getting the records while I was able to focus on my dog. Love this company and the people that work there!

Healthy Paws is the best!
Healthy Paws has been great! My beloved Sibe Husky just under went her second TPLO surgery. I wasn't expecting any benefits due to what I have read about pre-existing conditions. But I figured, what the heck, and submitted anyway. To my surprise, it was covered! They also gone on to cover her medications and post-op therapy. And I received an email asking how she was doing since the surgery. I thought that was a great touch! Admitting, the monthly expense is high, and was thinking of finding a lower cost company. But after this experience, I will be sticking with Healthy Paws! They have my upmost gratitude for helping out with keeping my girl happy and healthy. I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone considering pet health insurance!

Exceptional coverage with quick reimbursement
My large breed mixed lab suffered a full ACL tear requiring TPLO surgery. Having gone through this same injury five years earlier with my golden, I fully understood the ramifications of the injury to the dog and my pocketbook ($5,000 alone for the surgery cost). I also understand the time required post-surgery to heal and the need for rehab for several months. Luckily, this time I had insurance. I was unsure if the surgery would be covered in addition to the rehab but Healthy Paws paid 90% as stated in the policy. Reimbursment was fast and the customer care was excellent. My lab is healing wonderfully due to the work of my fantastic surgeon and the rehab at the same vet clinic. Thanks to Healthy Paws, my girl is able to run again and be a dog, and I can rest easy not having to pay out all that money again.

Greatest pet insurance ever!
They are full of compassion and understanding of what pet parents go through during their pet illness. My beloved dog passed away last week at the age of 5 after a brief struggle with liver disease. She will always stay in our hearts, and you know what else will be there !? The way HealthyPaws gave us piece of mind during her illness by assuring us they will cover everything with no limits so she can get better. The way they processed the claim (which we submit after the dog passed away) in less than 24 hours!! you can tell they did that in a full understanding of what we are going through, let alone the very sincere condolences they sent us, and the fact they canceled the policy on their own.
I greatly appreciate HealthyPaws insurance and surely they will be my pet insurance forever. I encourage any pet parent not to even think twice, nothing is more important than the health of your companion, and HealthyPaws are the company to take care of that.

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.
You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.
Deductible
You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750*

Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
