Great company, fast reimbursement

I have been with Healthy Paws since 2011. After careful research I chose them because they had great reviews. We now have two dogs that sometimes need treatment for one thing or the other. They are always available to answer all of your questions, their website is easy to navigate and their reimbursement checks come a few days after you file a claim. The Best pet insurance

My chihuahua puppy broke her metatarsal bones, fancy word for toes. I submitted the claim using the app. Easy and hassle free. Everything was done an about a week. From the proscessing the claim to reimbursement. They still continue to cover every bad age change every week. Even after my surgery reimbursement of $2500. And what really put the icing on the cake. I had a team member reach out to me personally and ask how my puppy was doing and how the surgery went.

An insurance co. that actually cares about the well-being of my dog as much as I do!

We got puppy insurance for our puppy as soon as we got her at 10 weeks old, she just had a case of puppy pneumonia and at 6 months, had already racked up $3000 in vet bills. Our pup is much better and got our reimbursement back before her antibiotics ran out so we are at ease. Not only does Healthy Paws provide quick customer service responses and reimbursement, they also email to ask how our puppy is recovering. It has been an amazing experience and I can not recommend Healthy Paws enough.

Best pet insurance ever

Healthy Paws Pet Ins has been amazing.My beautiful blue nose pitbull has had a lot of health issues and healthy paws has covered them all. From acupuncture to hydrotherapy to dental work. The only pet insurance I Recommend to any animal owner

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
