Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My husband and I signed our precious French bulldog Chief up for Healthy Paws Pet Insurance in June of 2018. We actually switched from Trupanion. Unfortunately, Chief sustained a CCL year a month ago and needed TPLO surgery which is VERY expensive. The few appointments leading up to his surgery, Healthy Paws was incredible. It is extremely easy to submit a claim, and they’re very responsive; less than a week! The BIG claim for Chief’s surgery was very successful in that Healthy Paws was once again very efficient, and communicated throughout the entire processing of the claim. We received our reimbursement check within two weeks of submission. Healthy Paws’ website is very user friendly. Their outstanding customer service is what kept my husband and I (and Chief) with Healthy Paws. There are no tricks or “extra fine print” that you need to worry about. Everything you need to know about your pet policy is stated up front. We HIGHLY recommend Healthy Paws!!!

Excellent pet insurance. Fast and no hassles. Easy to use on-line claims. Our over active German Shepherd has had several claims over the years and Healthy Paws has never failed to come through often finding other allowable charges I failed to claim.

Very easy to file a claim on line. Speedy update of claim status and reimbursement within ten days of claim submittal.

Honestly, get your pet health insurance, ASAP. We love our dogs because they are family and the expense of making sure they receive the proper, high-quality care they need is VERY HIGH, especially in our case: major knee surgery. We were able to go to our trusted vet with peace of mind knowing our Opi was in good hands and that us (the humans) were taken care of as well.
