Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I do not recommend this company. I looked at my auto pay and my policy went from $39 to $50 without any notice. I have been with this company less then a year and they increased my premium 30%. Haven't even made one claim. I called customer service and spoke to Jamie. She advised me that an email was sent 60 days ago to inform me if the increase but never opened.. That's because It was not received . I never delete emails and checked my spam box and NADA!!! I will be searching for a new company and filing a complaint with the BBB!!

I was unsure about purchasing insurance for my dogs, but I am so glad I did. My dog suffered 2 torn ACLs within 6 months. Healthy Paws covered the TPLO surgery and 12 weeks of rehab going above and beyond my expectations. I received a follow up call and email from HP checking in on my dog after surgery - AMAZING!

My 8 year old girl, Niki, recently needed TPLO surgery for a ruptured CCL. My fear before Healthy Paws was something like this would happen and I would be all for the surgery, while my husband was telling me it was too expensive. With Healthy Paws this was never a conversation, we only had to make a decision on what type of surgery she would have, not whether we could afford the surgery. Many fights were avoided and my Niki is on her way to recovery. Healthy Paws processed my claim quickly and cleanly and even sent inquiries on Niki's progress, making me feel like they really care about my dog and my family. I highly recommend this company!

I have tried a few pet insurance companies but love Healthy Paws. They have great customer service, fast claim processing, great prices, and coverage.

Having had Newfoundland dogs since 1999, we finally learned out lesson regarding health insurance for them. Barkley, our smaller, 150lb female, cost 16,000.00 over a 2 week period in 2010. We lost her. We have since had 2 more Newfoundlands; 1 a rescue with multiple issues, and 1 who has just had his 2nd surgery. Healthy Paws has been with us through both of these glorious goofballs. The female died just last year and so I am left with my boy, Reggie, who just had TPLO surgery this month and in 2016 had 2 discs in his neck repaired. HP was and still is, the BEST!
