Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

We had a big and unexpected emergency with our sweet little girl and Healthy Paws covered NEARLY ALL of our $7,000 vet bills! Not only did they process and pay in a quick and timely manner, they also followed up to see how our sweet girl was recovering. A personal, tailored note from their customer services team was such a nice, kind and caring touch as we were struggling through and so concerned about her. It made all the difference in the world! Highly recommend this insurance plan.

Healthy Paws has come through with flying colors for my dog Sienna's health care needs. As a rescue from a shelter, I was unable to determine much about her past except that she was spayed! Healthy Paws was very kind and very thorough as I followed the steps to get her baseline health status established, and then as she has needed various types of medical services including tests, medications, and surgeries, Healthy Paws has been outstanding! Not only are they always available by phone, they are polite, kind, professional and genuinely seem concerned about my dog's health. They are very quick to review my claims and provide reimbursement for covered expenses. I am very grateful to Healthy Paws and have recommended them with confidence to anyone I know (or meet) who expresses an interest in having excellent health insurance for their pets!

I wasn't sure which insurance to go with for my first puppy, Zoe, but I read multiple reviews on multiple companies and decided to go with Healthy Paws - and I am beyond grateful I went with them! Submitting a claim is easy and the reimbursement checks are quicker than I expected. Zoe has had to have XRays, blood tests, etc. and they have all been covered (yay!). Last month Zoe (now a little over 1 year old) was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia and we just had to do the surgery a few weeks ago. I was SO nervous that the expenses weren't going to get covered, but we had to move forward with surgery for our furbaby! Thankfully, they covered the 80% and I am so happy. They even wrote a note to see how Zoe was doing after her big surgery, which was unexpected. I highly recommend getting insurance through this company, even happy healthy pups have accidents!

Claim was easy and painless. App is the best to upload photo of bills to setup claim. A couple days and check in the mail.

I came home from work and my dog was clearly feeling unwell. He is an anxious rescue I have had for a year and a half. He wasnt acting like himself and his stomach was making loud noises. I brought him to the ER vet and they were monitoring him and said he was nauseous, and a very fast heart rate. They did an xray and kept him overnight to monitor. I was worried but knew they were taking good care of him. They gave me updates and asked if they could do another xray, I said yes because I knew I had insurance which would cover these costs. I made all of the decisions because I knew I wouldnt have to pay it all alone. I took a picture of my claim the next business day, and within the week I recieved my check, exactly as they had said they would. I cant recommend this company high enough to any pet owner. We love them so much, but sickness can happen. Hopefully you wont ever have to file a claim, but its such a good feeling to know that you are going to be able to do all you can for your pet.
