Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

We are currently awaiting a diagnosis for our beautiful little girl after a four day ICU stay. Not only have the staff at Healthy Paws been there to answer questions anytime we needed but they actually reached out to us just to find out how we were doing and inquiring how Baby Girl was ! So kind and caring and have paid out promptly allowing us the peace of mind to continue caring and seeking the medical attention that Baby Girl needs!

Healthy paws is amazing insurance. Every claim is promptly processed and the coverage is clear and understandable. They care and ask after my dogs well being. If human insurance was this good we would all be better off

When we first got our dog 5 years ago, I was on the fence about whether or not to buy pet insurance for him. On and off over the years i've thought "is this worth it?". But when a lump on my dog's leg turned out to be cancer I was so relieved to have the policy from Healthy Paws! Waiting for the test results and the surgery was nerve wracking, but the only thing i had to focus on was to do what was best for my pup - not to worry about whether i could afford the treatment. With that peace of mind we were able to schedule the surgery quickly, and he is recovering well. The claims process with Healthy Paws was super-easy. The app lets you start a claim by simply taking a photo of the bill from the vet. The claim was processed quickly, and i received reimbursement within a week of filing a claim. A few days later i received an email just checking in on how my dog was recovering from his surgery - i definitely felt like we were well taken care of.

I’ve been with Healthy Paws pet insurance for a number of years now, and I have covered four different dogs. Recently, one of my dogs needed surgery for his leg. Healthy Paws not only covered it and reimbursed me quickly, they actually sent me a follow up email to see how he was doing. What kind of insurance company does that? I’ll tell you: One that actually cares about the animals they cover. It’s obvious to me that the folks at Healthy Paws love their pets as much as we do. You just can’t go wrong with Healthy Paws, and there are very few companies I can say that about.

I have been with Healthy Paws for over 4 years. I did a lot of research when choosing my insurance carrier for my first puppy. I now have 3 insured with Healthy Paws. I have submitted small claims here and there for each of the dogs. This past month however I filed the largest claim yet. Almost 10K. In about 8 days the entire process was completed and I received my reimbursement check for 90% off the bill, minus the deductible and Doc fees. The piece of mind I had knowing my pet was covered made the ordeal less stressful. I would recommend Healthy Paws to anyone thinking of getting a puppy/dog. You can’t beat the ease of their app, the timeliness of the process, and the excellent customer service. I even received a follow up email asking how my pup was doing!!!
