There is no way they have a 96% rating.

I will start from the beginning, I tried to enroll online, and would not go through and received an email from them to call them to set it up over the phone, which I had no problem with all of that. I called them to set everything up and even gave my card number. The person I talked to said everything is set up and that there is a 15 day waiting period, and that I will receive a welcome email. Again, I was pleased with everything up to this point. Then fast forward 16 days and I have not heard or received anything. I called to ask about my policy and the person I talked to said it was pending because something went wrong and that he would have a specialist look at it. Still I'm fine with the process to this point, but then the specialist comes on and says we can re-enroll you today and you will just have to wait another 15 days for the policy to kick in. I told them I will if they start my policy today since this was their fault and did not notify me when it didn't go through. She had the nerve to say you should have called us. I got to talk to a manager next and they basically told me they have no record of my call and said it was my fault. What really happened is they screwed up and will not admit it. It was very hard to find a place to leave a review for this company because they don't have this option on their website. If they treat people like this trying to enroll, I can't even imagine how filing claims would be.

Best Pet Insurance I’ve Seen

I recently had to use my Healthy Paws pet insurance for the first time. I submitted 12 claims in less than theee months and I have to say, their claims process is incredibly easy. I just asked my vet to email Daisy’s records to Healthy Paws. Then I used the app to take a picture of my invoice, hit submit, and it was done. Literally took me less than 30 seconds. I worked in a vet clinic and have had to fill out claims for many different pet insurance companies. Not one of them came even close to the ease of making a claim with Healthy Paws. They paid my claim within 10 days, keeping me informed of where they were in the process the whole time. And they even cover things that other companies don’t, like acupuncture. I’m so grateful for Healthy Paws insurance. I couldn’t have gotten Daisy the care she needed without them.

After I read the fine print – this is the company I chose.

My employer offers Pet Insurance at a group discount, however, I chose to go with Healthy Paws after I read the contracts to several of the insurers. Healthy Paws was the stand out. They may not offer the annual physical and vaccines, which in the Boston Area is, I want to say, around $200 a year, however this is what they have reimbursed me for (at 90%) over the past ten years for three rescued dogs. 90% reimbursement for the MRI’s and medication when my dog Ben developed epilepsy later in life. I also received reimbursement for the water treadmill physical therapy he received to treat myelopathy. I was reimbursed for acupuncture to help with his ailments. Healthy Paws reimbursed me for the surgery Ben needed when his spleen ruptured, and they also reimbursed him for the stomach surgery he received when food would not go into his stomach. Ben was able to live a long, healthy, happy and productive life – and Healthy Paws significantly offset the expense that was needed to provide him this. I had another dog that needed significantly less care. Holly was hospitalized once when she needed eye surgery – and once again, Healthy Paws paid for 90% of it. Finally, my dog Penny developed an issue where there was significant damage to her teeth. Healthy Paws reimbursed me for, what resulted in, two surgeries that totaled ten hours. Overall, I am very happy with Healthy Paws and plan on being a customer for a very long time.

Absolutely an Exceptional Experience!

I have has Healthy Paws insurance on both of my dogs since I picked them up at 8 weeks. My view is that if I am going to have a dog or 2 :) I had better be able to take care of them! Having insurance gives me the peace of mind to make sure that when there is an emergency that all I have to focus on his my beloved dog. My older dog I have never had to make a claim but my new 7 month old puppy is another story. He is a large breed dog who has bloated 3 times so far where I have had to rush to the emergency room in the middle of the night. My last bill was close to $3000 dollars but since I had Healthy Paws insurance with 90% reimbursement my only worry was my dog Timber. Glad to report that he is doing fantastic now. :) Healthy Paws had my reimbursement check out to me within a week of the emergency room visit! My dogs have better health insurance than me!! They even followed up with me to see how Timber was feeling. :) Thank you Healthy Paws you are PAWSOME!!.

Awesome

I am writing this review as a devoted pet parent. My dog recently had major surgery. If not for this insurance from Healthy Paws I would have been struggling with paying the bill. I just want to let everyone know how much I believe in pet insurance. Healthy Paws has been with us every step of the process, for this claim they are a very dedicated company. They are so dedicated to their clients that they sent me an email inquiring about how my dog’s recovery was going. Every time I had the pleasure of talking to someone, they were very helpful and very caring. If you purchase this insurance from Healthy Paws it will give you peace of mind to be able to help your pet.
