Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My dog Justino was recently diagnosed with a malignant form of skin melanoma. We were never expected to be told our beloved dog had cancer when we took him to the vet to check the bump on his face. The news were shocking, he has always been so healthy and he was acting as usual!! Thankfully we acted fast so the cancer did not spread but we had to move quickly with the protocol suggested by the doctors: surgery, melanoma vaccines and radiations. We were so thankful to have Healthy Paws on our side. My husband and I could get the best options for Justi and focus on his treatment and recovery knowing that we had this amazing insurance to take care of the financial part. It was a heavy load removed from our shoulders. Pet parents have enough to worry about when our furry babies are sick and you do not need to be stressed about where the money for their treatment will be coming from. I've spent a lot of time researching and asking vets for pet insurance recommendations. I've always heard that Healthy Paws is "one of the good ones". I've had a bad experience with another company in the past, but signed up for insurance with Healthy Paws a couple years ago. I've only recently started using them heavily as my pup has started having some severe health issues (ccd, kidney issues, seizures). I have to say the process has been straightforward, simple, and as advertised...exactly as you should expect during stressful times. I am very pleased with my experience so far. Employees are kind and helpful to work with via email, and the app is super easy to use. Being able to upload pics of my pets to personalize it is a nice touch. Very happy Healthy Paws member!!
