This company is how all insurance companies should be run

A great company. Sign up was easy. Their mobile app was easy to use, especially for submitting claims. Most importantly all claims were processed and reimbursed promptly and hassle free. I wish all insurance companies are as efficient and fair. Highly recommend for all pet parents. You will not regret it.

Better Than Pricey Human Insurance

I signed up with Healthy Paws just one month after adopting my dog, Lilly, in 2012. We have remained customers ever since. Healthy Paws has been there for emergencies and prolonged illnesses - and every step of the way they have been nothing but supportive and efficient. Submitting claims is simple and payment arrives within 2 weeks (usually less than one week). The few times I've called with questions, the customer care team not only answers knowledgeably but they also take the time to share genuine concern about Lilly's recovery process. The added pet owner signature for each customer care rep sharing his/her special pet is an added bonus. If only my health insurance could be as great as Lilly's!

Doesn’t cover a lot, only extremes

Twice now I have gotten shorted from this health insurance. They don’t cover any preventive issues nor do they cover the cost of a doctors visit.

I’m glad I did my research and went with Health Paws

After a scary incident, Healthy Paws sent me an email to check up on Ellie's progress. They have really helped tremendously. It’s tough when you adopt bulldogs, or any breed, that were rescued from puppy mills as you don’t know the health conditions you may encounter. Ellie is the first dog that I decided to look into insurance for as my others were seniors when I adopted them so I didn’t think it was an option. She seemed healthy with no obvious issues early on but we’ve had a couple scares in the 9 or so months I’ve had her. Having insurance makes the decision to give her the best care that much easier. I would never NOT do everything I can for my dogs but I’m thankful to not be maxing out my credit cards to do it now. In short, I’m glad I did my research and went with Health Paws :)
