Overall outstanding pet insurance and service!

Our dog needed eye surgery for melanocytoma/melanoma. The whole procedure including pre-checks came close to 4,000 dollars... Healthypaws approved with no questions asked within a few days - remarkable! We are so grateful for the speedy review and the reimbursement of the costs as per contract. Super friendly service on the phone, and they even checked by email afterwards how things were going. It's a huge relief for pet ‘parents’ to have such a great insurance and not having to think about something horrible. Highly recommended!

Best pet insurance out there

Healthy Paws is hands down the best pet insurance company you could ask for. We adopted two puppies and Healthy Paws have literally saved us thousands of dollars since both of our dogs have developed allergies that require regular medication. We are so thankful for how quickly and effectively Healthy Paws processes our claims. They are very easy to work with and always send kind follow-up emails, even asking how our pup is doing. Cannot say enough good things about this company. Highly recommend.

Great Pet Insurance Provider

Healthy Paws has been the right choice for us in caring for our CKCS. After a recent claim, they reached out to personally ask how our Louie was doing. This is greatly appreciated, and honestly in this day and age, unexpected. Healthy Paws has been a pleasure to work with, and I recommend them to all of our friends with pets.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
