I’m glad I did my research and went with Health Paws

Thank you for following up to check on Ellie's progress, you guys have really helped tremendously. It’s tough when you adopt bulldogs, or any breed, that were rescued from puppy mills as you don’t know the health conditions you may encounter. Ellie is the first dog that I decided to look into insurance for as my others were seniors when I adopted them so I didn’t think it was an option. She seemed healthy with no obvious issues early on but we’ve had a couple scares in the 9 or so months I’ve had her. Having insurance makes the decision to give her the best care that much easier. I would never NOT do everything I can for my dogs but I’m thankful to not be maxing out my credit cards to do it now. In short, I’m glad I did my research and went with Health Paws :)

annual increase as much as they want. over 25% increase than any

I started with this insurance from 2017, and after annual review, they increased my premium from 29 to $37 per month. it is over 25% increase. I called them to find out why, and no clear explanation. they just did whatever they wanted to increase. My pet is only 5yr old, and never file a claim yet.

We're so glad we got Healthy Paws, it was an essential part of my dog's cure!

Our 2 and ½ year old golden-doodle, Palmer, decided to chew on something one day that wound up being toxic causing ulcerations throughout his mouth and down his throat. We rushed him to our vet. She was alarmed when she saw his mouth and said he was dehydrated and had lost weight. Our vet did what she could, but after getting him home his condition worsened. He was in too much pain to eat or drink. We called the vet and she recommended getting him to a hospital. After 4 days with an IV for fluids and a tube through his nose to feed him Palmer was well enough to eat soft food with our assistance. Healthy Paws was great! I scanned the vet and hospital bills and uploaded PDFs of them on-line. They started processing them immediately and kept me abreast of the status of my claims. The only other thing I needed to do was call the hospital and have them send his records. It was super easy. We had our claim checks within 2 weeks of this nasty event. Happy to report Palmer’s fully recovered.

Great service!

Their customer service is really super! I have 3 dogs; each of them have had vet bills (illness/dental issues/surgery) and they have worked with our vet so we only have to pay our portion instead of paying up front. They return calls immediately AND their site is really easy to use. I always recommend them to anyone who has a pet.

A GODSEND..

If it weren't for these guys, I would either be in extreme debt or catless. It;s given me the piece of mind to get my cat the emergency care he needs. Things happen, especially with cats, and when unexpected random sickness or obstructions occur, to have an insurance company like theirs is a godsend. They reimburse you 90%! They direct deposit it, and keep you up to date with claims. The forms are super simple, and there's real people to help you. I wouldn't trust anyone else.
