Filing is extremely simple and claim processed quickly. I emailed invoice on a Friday and was reimbursed Tuesday.

Quick response time! Thank you for your help with the prompt review of my claim and reimbursement! It was reassuring to know that Healthy Paws was there for me and my dog so that I could focus on her treatment and recovery.

Use to think they were the best pet insurance company and was a satisfied member for 9 years even though the rates continued to climb to almost $200.00 per month. My dog has had numerous medical conditions throughout the nine years and they alway made a quick settlement of payment. For nine years I protected My dog with a 250.00 deductible at a return payment of 90%. Upon renewal of my policy I was informed that they would no longer be covering my at the current rate changing it to a 500.00 deductible per year and a payout of 75%. They told me it was because the State of Florida would not permit the continue my current 250.00 @ 90%. Oddly they still offer that policy coverage in the State of. Florida. Beware that they can change the coverage to meet their needs . They were once the best but now I would advise everyone to stay clear of this company. The changed my policy knowing that I couldn’t switch to another company due to my dogs now pre existing conditions.

Healthy Paws will find every reason not to pay out on their policy. After being a member for both my dogs for many years, without EVER filing a claim, I finally submitted 3 invoices totaling $921.80 for an incident by one of my dogs. Their payout came to a whopping $49.14 !! Awww the waste of money I was foolish enough to buy into, in hopes for some "financial stability" - God forbid my dogs have an accident. It's a total scam unfortunately. I am embarrassed I bought into it. Be smart, put the same money insurance charges monthly towards a vet bill fund, you will be much better off doing so. Without Fail. I have paid $4800 so far in pet insurance and their payout was $49,14. I am an idiot.
