Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

We are so thankful we had pet insurance, I have been making sure to tell all my friends how helpful it has been to have. My dog tore his ACL and the claim/reimbursement process was painless. I'm so glad I was able to recoup a significant portion of my expenses. And on top of it all, Healthy Pets made sure to check in and make sure my pet was doing OK post-surgery. It doesn't get any better than that! For any pet parents debating whether or not to sign up, please do. It may seem like you'll never need to use it, but you'd be surprised. And you want to feel secure knowing you don't have to worry so much about costs when your furbaby needs help.

They are amazing! I have had two claims with them already and they processed RIGHT AWAY and were sooo helpful and caring! My dog has had two surgeries the past year and they have honestly been so great I would not go anywhere else. I also got my reimbursement in the same week that I submitted the claim which I was extremely surprised and impressed with!

My cat had to have surgery and initially did not do well afterward, necessitating a follow-up visit, which under the present stay-at-home order was especially stressful. Most veterinarian paperwork was done electronically, and I was pleased to see that I could upload the vet statements as PDFs directly to Health Paws. I received my reimbursement in about 24 hours as a direct deposit, which was great peace of mind, especially since I myself had not been well. Even under trying circumstances, Health Paws came through for me and my kitty, and I am very grateful.

Being able to snap pictures of the vet bills with my phone and upload them directly in their iPhone app was amazing and made me wish my own insurance worked this well. It made the whole process less stressful overall because we were able to get our pup taken care of and feeling better without putting us into financial distress.

Who knows if our dog is more accident prone than most, but we have absolutely saved money overall after filing claims when she sliced her paw open from a piece of glass last year and then accidentally fractured two teeth this year. For each claim, we just submit a screenshot of our vet's receipt on the app and hear back about reimbursement within a week. When we have had questions or requested to adjust the claim they have been so responsive. We are definitely with Healthy Paws for life!
