Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My dog has a very sensitive stomach and is on a prescription food. She can go weeks and be perfectly fine, and then suddenly, we are in the ER for pancreatitis or something almost as bad. It's always a dramatic change, and it's extremely stressful because we can't always pinpoint what happened. But having pet insurance has made a huge difference, and Healthy Paws has responded quickly to every claim. I can take a photo of the receipt with the itemized lists of treatment/tests, and I usually just upload from the car before we even leave the office. In the three years we've had our dog, we've *always* met the yearly deductible and monthly fee, so she's clearly a dog who needs insurance. :) Healthy Paws has given us the ability to care for her quickly and without worrying too much about costs.

I adopted two kittens and was contemplating getting pet insurance, everyone I spoke to was so happy they did, I was going to put it off and wait until the kittens were older but then I pulled the trigger after reviewing several companies and what they offer. Thank goodness I got the insurance, they covered everything under my plan, yes I had a deductible and a 20% copay, but when I think about what it would have cost without the plan, I would have been paying off care credit for years.

So grateful to have this insurance! Saved me a pretty penny and have me a lot of peace of mind when my pet was sick. Not only was the claim process quick and easy but I got my reimbursement in an efficient manner as well. Plus the staff checked in on us after our vet visit to make sure all was well.
