Great coverage, easy claim process

We chose healthy paws two and a half years ago shortly after we purchased our golden retriever puppy, Cheddar. Unfortunately, Cheddar has had many health issues in her short 2.5 years, but healthy paws has always made the claim process quick and painless. In particular it made it easy for us to go with the best medical care possible for Cheddar when she was diagnosed with cancer because we know we’re covered. We can’t thank healthy paws enough for giving us this extra time with Cheddar.

Healthy Paws is AMAZING!

I can't say enough great things about Healthy Paws. I have 2 dogs (Bichon Frise and Yorkie), both 3 years old. Whenever either of them have any issues, I always feel secure knowing that I have the best pet insurance on the planet. The claims process couldn't be easier and they always go the extra mile by checking in with me about my little ones. I cannot stress how important having the right insurance is and Healthy Paws is definitely the best decision I ever made.

VERY SUPRISED

I HAD A RECOMENDATION FOR THIS INSURANCE AND PURCHASED IT WITHIN THE WEEK AFTER I GOT MY DOBERMAN PUPPY. THE SECOND MONTH HE GOT VERY SICK AND WE FOUND OUT HE HAD AN INTESTINAL BLOCKAGE FROM EATING A CAT TOY. $3000 OF SURGERY LATER I SUBMITTED THE CLAIM AND WAS VERY SUPRISED WHEN IT WAS PROCESSED AND THEY PAID OVER $2000 OF THE BILL AFTER MY DEDUCTABLE AND THE 20% COPAY. THANK GOD. VERY HAPPY WE HAVE IT AND IT IS WORTH IT.

The easiest, quickest, stress-free insurance we've ever had!

Our family is so grateful to have Healthy Paws insurance for our sweet Bonita. I am not tech savvy and found it extremely easy to file a claim! The process is super quick too! She had surgery on Monday, I submitted the claim Tues and the claim was completed by Friday with reimbursement into my bank by Monday. One week from start to finish and it was a large claim. Without Healthy Paws we could not afford this surgery for her. Customer Service is outstanding, very quick and caring. We have received 2 emails checking in on how our Bonita is doing. I highly recommend this insurance. It's the most stress-free insurance we've ever had.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
