Worth their weight in Gold

I was hesitant to purchase health insurance for my dog but I take thanks everyday that I have. My dog has had a few mishaps in her life and the thought of having to wait or say no to her treatment because of money isn't a choice anyone should have to make. Of course I would do what it takes In the end, but Healthy Paws has made my choices easier. They are quick to respond, the process is easy and they are personal as well. You don't feel like you are dealing with a corporation. They treat you as a human with kindness. I would highly encourage everyone to go with this company.

great investment, peace of mind

We only had need for making 2 claims in the past year or so, tho we've had Healthy Paws for about 5 years. Without this insurance I would have had prohibitively expensive bills. As our dog is family (!) I never wanted to have to choose whether to get her the care she needs. Am happy to say that Healthy Paws has made claims and reimbursement easy and quick. I've had very helpful customer service help with real people in real time. What more can you ask for?

Exceptional Pet Ins!!

We have had HP pet ins for a few years now! The service is exceptional! The site is easy to use! Submitting a claim is super easy! Reimbursement checks are sent quickly! Coverage is fantastic! Wonderful customer service! We are so grateful we put our trust in Healthy Paws!!

PUUURFECT

Out little kitty got really sick causing us to rush her to the emergency room. Healthy Paws came through and covered us as we expected. The process was easy. Vet billed them directly. They were easy to work with and very responsive. So so happy.

Healthy Paws is the best! Without their help, I would not have been able to save Bear's life. Huge thanks to Healthy Paws!

Bear had to have emergency surgery for a perforated intestine. Without Healthy Paws Pet Insurance (and the great effort of Michigan State University's vet hospital), Bear would not be alive today. Healthy Paws has been tremendously supportive and customer service is second to none and very responsive.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
