Fantastic Vet Clinic, We opted to go to this clinic as it was closest to our home for wound treatment after our Bernese Mountain Dog got hit by a car. The vets, technicians and staff were amazing at getting our dog back on his feet. We could tell the vets really cared, and because of their hard work, our dog recovered quicker than expected. I would highly recommend this clinic.

Best vets around! Dr. Sutton and everyone at the Rossland Animal Hospital team is so amazing. They have taken such good care of my dog since I got him as a puppy almost 8 years ago. 10/10 would recommend if you're looking for a vet :)

Dr. Sutton and Dr. Rowland are phenomenal vets. In my 17 years of pet ownership, I have had many experiences with veterinarians and can confidently say that my experiences with them both tops the list. They are so caring and always willing to share their knowledge and expertise. The services here are significantly cheaper than at our former vet clinic with no reduction in quality or attention. Absolutely fabulous. Some of the front desk staff are more welcoming than others, but it’s clear that even they have a deep love for everyone’s pets. Highly recommend the veterinary services here!

I have been volunteering at Rossland Animal Hospital since 2017, and I am now completing clinical placements here as a veterinary student. Over the years, this clinic has become so much more than a workplace to me—it’s a place of learning, growth, and inspiration. Every member of the team is incredibly kind, dedicated, and compassionate, not just to their patients and clients but also to their staff and the students who are lucky enough to train here, myself and my sister included. Despite their busy schedules and the endless demands of veterinary practice, no one at Rossland has ever hesitated to answer my questions, explain procedures, or show me how to set things up. They’ve given me countless opportunities to practice and refine my skills, always providing encouragement whether I’m trying something new or mastering the basics. The most invaluable lessons I’ve learned at Rossland, however, go beyond clinical skills. This clinic has taught me what it means to practice veterinary medicine with kindness, compassion, empathy, and humanity. These are qualities that I will carry with me throughout my career, and I owe much of that to the mentorship I’ve received here. Dr. Brown, Dr. Sutton, Dr. Sangster, and Dr. Rowland are a wealth of knowledge and an absolute joy to learn from. They never show frustration or impatience, even when I bombard them with questions, and they are always willing to take the time—whether during their lunch break or between appointments—to dive deep into cases and share their expertise. I’ve volunteered at many animal hospitals during my academic journey, but none compare to Rossland Animal Hospital. The team here cares so deeply and fiercely about their patients and clients, going above and beyond to help every animal that comes through their doors. This has been, without question, my favorite clinical placement. The mentorship, support, and genuine passion I’ve experienced here have been vital to my growth as a student and as a future veterinarian. I genuinely look forward to every day I get to spend at Rossland Animal Hospital, and I am forever grateful for the role this clinic has played in fostering my love for animals and veterinary medicine.

This clinic was cheating the student whose doing volunteering work. After working for four months and said not able to provide references letter, Not even issue proof of volunteering. We have asked for reference letter when applying the volunteer job。 They are just looking free students labor to do disgusting job such as cleaning up the blood, poop, and pee from treatments and garbage disposal!! The vets and staffs always judge the client if they decline/unsure to do the pricey treatments they recommend.
