How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Bloor Street Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

This vet is absolutely amazing. They got me in at last minute for a potential emergency, and were the cheapest by far. My regular vet quoted me $500+ for x-rays, whereas this doctor only charged me $275 plus the exam fees. They gave me some great news about my pet and were so kind. I've also boarded my cat here in the past and they took great care of her. Thank you all so much! You've taken a huge weight off of my shoulders. We will be making this our regular vet from now on

I have taken all my cats here for years never a disappointment the vet is very responsible never feel like we are being taken advantage of like other clients he is very honest and helps you save some money if you can doesn’t push. The assistant is also very friendly and welcoming plus we are always happy to see Simon, he’s like an emotional support animal for other animals. I feel like they have saved 2 of my cat’s lives now. I am very appreciative of this place.

Took my dog here in an emergency. The vet was very attentive and caring towards my puppy and even gave preventive bloodwork (just in case) which showed infection. He called me the following morning to check up on her and ask about current symptoms to make sure she was okay. I couldn’t be happier with my experience and I’m very thankful for the emergency appointment on Boxing Day!! I will be switching vets!!

Can’t say enough to praise this clinic. Being new to the Province I don’t have a vet yet. My Dog Remi woke yesterday with a swollen leg and a nasty sore. They had Remi seen in 30 minutes. The Doctor was unbelievably kind and gentle. Prices are fair very fair for most vet clinics. Today the vet himself, not receptionist, the vet called me to check on Remi. Greatly appreciate their services and will go no where else with my fur baby.
