We were the last appointment of the day, and we chose this clinic after seeing their high Google ratings — and they truly lived up to it. The communication was clear and effective, and the staff were warm, caring, and genuinely passionate about animals. You can really feel how much they love what they do. I cannot thank Burnhamthorpe Animal Hospital enough for everything they did to save my dog Dior’s life. From the moment we walked through the doors, the entire team showed genuine compassion, professionalism, and dedication that went far beyond my expectations. Dior was in critical condition, and the staff acted quickly, went above and beyond and explained every step making sure I understood what was happening. They worked tirelessly and checking in constantly once we were able to bring Dior home and treated Dior as if she were their own. It was clear they truly cared not just about doing their job, but about giving my pet the best possible chance to live. Thanks to their quick action, expertise, and kindness, Dior is now home and doing amazing. I will forever be grateful to the doctors, nurses, and staff for their commitment, empathy, and skill. From when our dog (Shihtzu/Jack Russell) was a puppy just two months old, we've brought her here to Burnhamthorpe AH. Not one bad thing to say about this place. During Covid, all good. Luckily, no health issues for her, so mainly the occasional shots in addition to the annual visit. Very pleasant demeanor from the direct health care providers. Easily recommend this place.

My cat wasn’t feeling well, and this animal hospital helped me schedule an appointment very quickly. On the day of the visit, the doctor made an accurate diagnosis right away and was extremely kind and patient with both me and my cat. She received surgery the same day, and when I came to pick her up, the doctor carefully explained all the post-surgery home care instructions. They even followed up with me by text every day to check on her recovery. Truly a caring, responsible, and highly professional veterinary clinic! My cat is doing very well right now!
