My Newfoundland will be 6 this week. As a puppy he had a eye defect and needed surgery. I had $700 deductable. They would not cover his bills even after I had paid the deductable. Haven't collected a cent from them yet my premiums keep going up. I regret buying pet insurance from them!

I purchased pet insurance when my dog was about 6 months old. He is now 5 years old! I purchase pet insurance for peace of mind with illness or injury. I wanted to be able to provide the best care for my dog when injury or illness has occurred without having to worry about how being able to financially afford. I pay my vet with my credit card, submit my claim and when I am reimbursed I use that money to make a payment on my credit card . So far I have had the peace of mind I was looking for. It is easy to upload invoices through their app. I have even gotten a reimbursement the same day as submitting the claim!

Once I got the system figured out, it has been going very well. A few glitches here and there but better than other insurances I have had. They are much quicker with reimbursement than any other insurance. Customer service has been helpful also.

I’ve had a good experience, but not so good. One of my cats became ill, and the claim was denied because they went back to a time when she was a kitten when she was recovering from Pneumonia where she had some vomiting. They denied her claim when I took her in for vomiting only. So if your cat or kitten I ever had vomiting when it was connected to a completely different illness, they’ll deny any claim in the future for any case of vomiting at all, calling it pre-existing.

Healthy Paws is fantastic. We have never had issues getting out pets' emergency cares covered, and the customer service at Healthy Paws goes above and beyond, even reaching out to check in after hospitalizations, and sending condolences when our pets have passed. I truly can't recommend Healthy Paws enough!

I am so happy with Pets Best. I did a lot of research when I got my pup and have been very pleased. I went with a $250 deductible and the Wellness basic we have used it every year :-). My doggie has periodic garbage gut, she's had surgery, bite wound and other wound from running through the forest, eye infection etc. Each claim was processed efficiently and exactly to the contract. Paid out 90% to my checking account or applied to my yearly deductible. Periodically, I get quotes from other outfits and I believe I have the best coverage for the lowest price. I just got a quote from Embrace for $79/mo. Mine is now $52 up fro $46 but she just turned 5 years old. I can't understand how these other companies have higher ratings when they are all much more expensive and have less coverage. Oh well, I feel fortunate to have them.

Have never made a claim. My premiums continue to increase. I regret purchasing pet insurance from this company but ive invested to much money to drop out now!

Our beloved Golden Retriever Katie Rose has had a number of medical issues over the years - especially in the last year as she struggled with tremors, seizures, and collapsing on stairs. We have engaged a rather large team of Vet specialists and, with their help, we have finally found some answers. During this challenging time, we really appreciated Healthy Paws responsiveness to our claims. They have been and continue to be a great partner in her health care. We would be experiencing significantly more stress if we didn’t have Healthy Paws there to helps through this financially.

So glad I have this insurance. It has been a literal life saver for the health of my fur baby and financially for me. Great and friendly customer service. Submission of claims are made simply and easily in the app. Reimbursements are quick and easy as well. I can concentrate on my baby girl and give her what she needs at the vet and home. This review is for Bivvy. They had the best prices, fastest turnaround, helpful on--line or on phone. So easy and quick filing claims on line, had my money within a couple days. Unfortunately, they went out of business which is so sad. When they closed they suggested using Spot. My insurance with Bivvy was $14 a month, now because my dog has a preexisting condition they won't cover, but still want me to pay $123 a month! I know my dog is older and more prone to vet visits, so I expect his insurance to be more now. All the insurance companies I have received quotes from are close to $100 or over. I am on a fixed income and can't afford that much every month. My dog has Cushings, he has to have blood work every six months which is $365 each visit and his medicine is $138 a month. Maybe Bivvy went down because of so many costly claims and cheap prices, who know, but I sure will miss them. If anywhere out there knows where I can get decently priced insurance or a deal for seniors, please let me know. Hopefully you can comment to our posts.
