In almost every instance Trupanion has been outstanding.

In almost every instance, Trupanion has been outstanding. The only setback is that the rates tend to increase a bit. each year. That adds up with three dogs! If they offered a fixed rate, I would have given them a 10.

Claims appeals process !!

It unfortunate that I had to fight with your company to get my pet's claim covered. The appeals process is a total mess. You basically called my vet and my surgeon liars but claiming my dog had pre-existing conditions. I eventually won the appeal but then was charged an additional deductible. It seems that Trupanion tries very hard to get out of paying claims especially in older dogs. Thankfully I was reimbursed for the money owed to me but I shouldn't have had to go through the process of fighting with you. Your appeals process is a complete trainwreck.

Double knee surgery for my dog
