I would have given this a 10, except for my latest experience currently with Trupanion. My vets office stopped submitting for us and my claim had to go into a deductible appeal. Before this though, definitely 10/10! Have never had an issue before this and have been recommending your company for two years to all our family and friends!! Overall, very satisfied with your company!

Cat emergency visit
I was pleased with the rapid response from Trupanion from my emergency vet. I did not know however that it was $1000 deductible per illness. I thought it was per year, so that was a surprise. and that the initial diagnosis charge wasn’t included.

Difficult and long enrollment process
I have 2 AKC puppies that I tried to enroll. They had trouble getting records from the veterinarian for one of the breeders. I had given them all the records I had. The puppies had been vet checked and certified. They put a strange caviat on the policy for one of the pups (Ray) related to pale gums which the vet said was a bit of dehydration. Trupanion asked me the same question several times and the process took over a month and a half after I paid the deposit. No one would explain the caveat on Ray's policy. Strange process
