Kate was very helpful in setting up my policy. I had issues with another rep setting it up but may not have been their fault (computer issues). She was very helpful and answered my questions.

A pet insurer who lives up to their name (and claims)
My wife laughed at me when I said I was taking out pet insurance for our dog George. Why would we need that, she asked. Well, a couple of years later we found out... then found out again. One day, we returned home to George's rear legs being paralyzed, and it was clear something was seriously wrong. A visit to our local veterinary hospital led to an urgent referral to a specialist, to an MRI, and ultimately to back surgery. The overall cost was somewhere in the $7,000 range. Although the claim did take a little while to process, it was paid in full (at our 90% chosen coverage level, minus the deductible). Great, we got our money's worth. Well, two years later... the same thing happens, this time a spinal issue further up his back. Same drill: local vet, immediate referral to specialist neurology department. MRI. Surgery. Cost: over $10k (first instance was in Michigan, second in Southern California). This time the claim was submitted and paid *the next day*. I couldn't believe the quick turnaround. No quibbling, or trying to get out of paying. Knowing you can trust your pet insurer to pay up when you need it can be the difference between being able to say yes to a necessary procedure, or saying no. HealthyPaws had been a chance word of mouth recommendation to us from a casual acquaintance who had had a similarly positive experience, and we count ourselves very lucky we got it!

Healthy Paws is the BEST Pet Insurance
Healthy Paws helped us so much when we needed to take our dog to the ER vet for stomach issues. It made our decision so much easier to get our dog the care she needed, even though we were quoted a couple thousand dollars. We use to have another pet insurance that had caps, so we switched to Healthy Paws for the piece of mind. The claim submitting process is super easy and they processed our claim within 2 days. I would highly recommend Healthy Paws for any pet owner!

Embrace Pet Insurance huge disapointment
Embrace Pet Insurance was a huge disapointment. When my puppy was 3 months old they had an episode of vomiting that was very expensive to treat. So I decided to get pet insurance with Embrace. I submitted one claim in the first 5 months of coverage (for a potential payout of around $800) for another vomiting issue. Over the next 7 months I was constantly calling and emailing and uploading the same documents they'd request again and again, all the while saying they still needed more information and past records when I had already given them everything. It was a tremendous stress on myself and clearly not worth it as I never was reimbursed. I cancelled my coverance plan. Do NOT use Embrace.

I have not received information on how to add my personal veterinarian to my preferred veterinarian. The vet does not show up on the search on your website. I have requested this info many times with no reply.

Excellent!
We had many choices and many prices to consider when picking insurance for our Charlie(Yorkipoo puppy). We found some cheaper some more expensive however we decided on ASPCA. Although a bit more than our other choices we have defiantly made the right choice. We opted for preventive care and submitted a claim the first week and were reimbursed within 3 days!! I highly recommend!!!!
