Complete lack of processing
I've had Fetch pet insurance for a few months and I am looking elsewhere. I chatted with an agent who then supposedly submitted a pre-authorization claim on my behalf. I was told it'd be completed in 3 business days. In the span of 2 WEEKS I called and/or messaged an agent 4-5 times because my pre-authorization never went into review. Every time, I was told they will ensure it is completed shortly. Then it was over the 2 week mark and suddenly I am missing documents, when I submitted medical records the same day it was originally submitted. It is ridiculous that this was only supposed to take 3 business days and it has been over 2 weeks and counting- ONE because I was never informed that anything was missing until the 2 week mark when I had to call again. TWO I am waiting another 3 days again. And THREE, turns out the original agent I spoke with didn't even submit the correct type of claim. I've been going in circles with these people and it's been the worst insurance experience I've ever had. DON'T RECOMMEND.

Difficult to get things covered
They will dig into your pets records and find the most minuscule reasons not to cover something even when the note was beyond the time frame of concern. Only keeping coverage due to my pet already incurring over 10k of vet charges the year prior to coverage.

I was worried about my cat, but not about paying for his care
My cat recently got sick, vomiting, not eating, etc. I was so worried about him, but I wasn't worried about paying for his care. Even though the bills ran into the thousands, my share was in the hundreds. And it was so easy to submit and invoice, the response was within 24 hours, and so was the payment.

Thank you, Pets Best!
My boy had a tumor on his spinal cord and was paralyzed. Pets Best covered the radiation and chemo and everything in between. I am forever grateful!
My dog got an eye infection and trupanion wouldn't cover the treatment
My dog got an eye infection - but Trupanion wouldn't cover it - because he had the infection once before we started with insurance. Calling it a pre-existing condition - despite him having received treatment and cured the infection. Anyone who has a dog knows that dogs can pick up new infections - they stick their noses in all kinds of things and pick up things from other dogs. health care for pets has gone through the roof as it has become big business - pet insurance is supposed to offer assistance - in exchange for your premium - they shouldn't be making up reasons not to pay for care.

The customer service was good
The customer service was good, but the medical review and approval is taking long considering no pre-existing conditions.
