Pet insurance rates
I purchased accident injury insurance for my 3 schnauzers a four years ago. The rate started at $192.08 per month for all three. In 2024 they increased the rate to $255.17. I have not had any claims in. Currently my Two of the dogs are 4 years old and the older male is now 14.They raised my rate in July to $404.58 a month, that is $4,854.96, I cancelled my policy today. I believe this is ridiculous.

Trupanion is very easy to deal with and cares about the pets. I get my reimbursements back quickly and if you can find a vet clinic that does direct pay it’s amazing!!!!

So far I'm quite impressed
So far . I'm impressed by. Had to take my young pup to ER care for a cough . Although they did not take Trupanion direct . The process after was lightning fast . Processed next day and check within the week . Then 30 days had to get more x-rays for 30 day followup. My new vet takes direct . They processed on spot and my hefty Bill was reduced to a small portion out of my pocket . Thank you !
