Saving a life
When my dog Deshia became injured due to osteoarthritis and disc disease, trupanion stepped in and saved my dog and my wallet. They paid 90% of the 5000.00 MRI and spinal tap. Trupanion has continued to pay 90% of all ongoing rehab and medications for my precious girl. If it wasn't for them I'm not sure Deshia would have made the recovery she did! We avoided spinal surgery and possible euthanasia. I HIGHLY recommend them!

I have been with sonnet over 10 years…
I have been with sonnet over 10 years and never submitted a claim and I recently submitted one and soo difficult to get of hold of agents and have the claim going. It has been a month and still waiting o the next step. Very difficult to submit a claim.

Highly recommend!
My dog became very sick and was admitted to the local animal hospital. She spent a week there and was able to see a specialist to help figure out what was wrong. Without Trupanion I would have had to make some very hard decisions because it was very very expensive but thankfully ,because of Trupanion, I was able to get her the care she needed and she has made a 100% recovery. They paid the claim quickly and made it very easy to file and get payment. Customer support was so sweet and very helpful as well.

Off all the insurance CO. I have tried Sonnet is the most easiest one to deal with The rates are very good and they do not drop you when there is a problem your with payment They will let you know and give you time to make it up even if it is the next month and let you change the payment date I will tell every one I know about SONNET

Our dog Zoey has been covered by Healthy Paws Insurance since 2014 and they have always been reliable with an easy claims process. I was a huge fan of Sonnet at the beginning. When I first signed up for home insurance 3 years ago, my rate was $212 per year. It has now tripled to $626.40. I can understand yearly increases, but I feel I've been over-gouged. P.S. I have never had a home insurance claim from Sonnet or my previous insurance company who I was with for 27 years. I just got a reply back that this would be looked into but nothing so far.

Appealing the same claim TWICE.
Incredibly long claim processing times - not fast at all, as their website claims; 21 days for one medication (which was ultimately denied). Submitted a claim for a brand new condition; underwriters thought it was preexisting and denied it. Despite supporting documents, underwriters aren't getting that it's brand new. I'm on my second appeal. Customer service is hit or miss. READ THE FINE PRINT. Grade: D
