Easy and quick
I adopted my cat in November 2021 and by February 2022 he became quite sick. I had luckily purchased Lemonade Pet Insurance the month prior, to start the year off. I submitted multiple claims and they were handled quickly. Reimbursement was lightning fast, which was a pleasant surprise. My sweet kitty ended up passing in May 2022 and even though his end of life wasn't covered, it was nice that I didn't have to go through a long process of trying to get his past claims completed and I was able to close the policy quickly. I ended up purchasing another policy for the cat I rescued the following week and have recommended to others already.

Amazing service, no drama, very effective
We had our pet to go thru an emergency spinal surgery, and in less than a week after remission, Trupanion had already made the deposit in our bank account for this major expense. Very straight forward, all done online. They take care of connecting with the clinic. Second time we had to sue them, great service and effective response. Thanks!

Submitted all necessary paperwork on…
Submitted all necessary paperwork on our animal, filed a claim on a service at the beginning of February of 2022. The company put a hold on the claim stating on the paperwork was not submitted. I resubmitted all the paperwork that I had to the company, a month goes by nothing I submitted a email to the company on inquiring on the status of the claim, received no correspondence. Then I submitted another email stating that I’m not help with the service. A month goes by and still nothing, so I canceled my policy with the company. Even with me calling to cancel the customer service representative never inquired on why I was canceling my policy. So use this company at your own risk BP

Im only giving a 3 for now
Im only giving a 3 for now, because I do not have my adoption final. Im impressed with the coverage, but I spoke to a rep that apparently thought she knew more than me about how my place of work ran better than I did. Mind you, I have been an RVT (registered vet tech) for 32 years and have worked at a prestigious university veterinary hospital for 21 years. Yet, she had to mention she was a vet tech and knew my hospital better than I did. Well, I was correct regarding our discussion. I will follow through with my adoption and go with Embrace, because of the coverage. However, I do not appreciate an employee there arguing about what I know, and implying they know more, after I had to repeat myself several times.

I registered my dogs as mixed breeds…
I registered my dogs as mixed breeds medium. Embrace cherry picked information from the vet record that said one “resembled an Australian Shepherd” an Embark DNA test confirmed mixed breed. Embrace refused to acknowledge DNA tests and vet emails informing them my dog was a mixed breed. Embrace refused to let go of erroneous info they were using to justify higher premiums despite proof it was inaccurate. I had no choice but to discontinue service with them. I would not recommend Embrace, they will rip you off if they can. To be clear, my vet emailed Embrace on two occasions to notify them my dogs breed is in fact mixed breed. Embrace ignored those emails and continued to classify her as an Australian Shepherd.

Miss Kitty found a Trupanion
Well for one thing, the insurance agent was very friendly and that made me want to continue the conversation. And compared to other pet insurances, it sounded really like they do care about our furry family members, and I really want that for my Miss Kitty. And so, I would recommend Trupanion to my friends, because they deserve the best as well.

You have been very helpful with our recent emergency with Maggie.
You have been very helpful with our recent emergency with Maggie. I haven't received your response as to how much you will be paying but I'm assuming all but the $100 deductible and 10%. As 80 year olds, retired, we could not have easily done this. Thankfully Maggie is still with us. The $100 deductibe was taken out of THE VETS (our regular Veterinarian) charges so the emergency charges from Royal Vista should be covered all but 10% I've been telling everyone how thankful we are to have Trupanion. You will probably get more clients due to Maggie's emergency situation. I would love to know who is signing up to get the referral fee. If I get their names I will send them. Our son in VA took out Trupanion with their puppy. When I let you know I was told it had to be done a different way. Maybe you could fill me in.
