Unhappy with Customer Service
I very disgusted with Pets Best. Their payment for the policy may be very low but their customer service is horrible. I am very unhappy with my last claim payment. I tried to call for an explanation but could not reach anyone. I am ready to close this service and look elsewhere. I understand there have been problems with COVID but they should have someone answering the phone. I do not see a problem with them deducting my payment for the policy every month. They make sure there are employees to handle that part of their business

FALSE ADVERTISING.
If I could give less than one star, I would. Up to 39 days to process claims is absurd! Especially for a wellness exam. I can only imagine the processing time it would take if a serious issue occurred such as surgery, cancer, etc. The rep on the phone said the have limited staff and are in the process of hiring. How is this the consumer's issue? Nothing in the disclosure forms, or on their website that discuss this lengthy and crazy time frame for processing. I'm a new customer, paid for 60 days, and now must wait almost 40 days for reimbursement.

I am not sure I can truly express how impressed I am with the service Trupanion provided. I was skeptical with pet insurance, as a lot of folks are. But all I can say is thank the heavens I decided to sign up last month. I was just approaching the 1 month mark when my pup Peaches decided she would eat a foreign object. I brought her to the vet, I told the tech in passing, I just signed up with Trupanion last month. She had surgery to remove the object, and by the time I picked her up at supper, I had received a text from Trupanion that $1,116 of my claim was covered. I was truly shocked considering I didn't even submit the invoice, it was all completed by my vet's office, with something I said in passing. So to say I was impressed is an understatement. Between the vet's office and Trupanion, I am one happy customer! Thanks again. And Peaches is recovering nicely.

Our Twoodle
Our Twoodle, Maggie, had gotten deathly ill from a gall bladder infection. She required a lot of test and was in the Vet for 3 nights. As you can imagine, the Vet bill was rather large. We purchased Trupanion when we got each dog and it was the smartest decision we have ever made. I called Trupanion and spoke with Jessica to find out how to file a claim. She was friendly, professional, and caring. I would definitely recommend Trupanion.

Good insurance, a must for pet owners
Trupanion is fast to reimburse for expenses, when the amount is small - a few days. For larger amounts, it takes weeks. But they are good and professional to deal with.

Fast and Reliable
Trupanion as been excellent in helping provide exceptional care for my Dachshund. Hailey has had issues with Pancreatitis and just recently Cushings Disease. As long as I have a pet, I will have Trupanion.
