I sent you 6 claims in May

I sent you 6 claims in May, 2026 to review and pay and I got a check for $1,275.96. This was for claim 56683469. I have yet to hear from you on the rest of the claims. When I called and talked to a rep was told this was the pay off and she didn't understand what all the other papers were for. THEY WERE CLAIMS. We have had you ins for many years and you are lousy and as far as I am concern. I pay you every month but when my dog is sick you pay nothing towards the bills. In 2025 I sent in bill and got nothing for them.

When trouble comes Spot is there at 90% reimbursement

Spot ins at approx. 25.00/mo. Is well worth it! When trouble hits, accident or illness, they are there at 90% reimbursement. Claims are relatively quick, about 10 days, and comprehensive coverage for your bill at vet minus waste fees. Great to have when that 1500- 5000 bill hits you at the vet. You may pay 2 or 5 years but eventually they will have your back when your confronted with that huge bill. They covered two claims for the same illness over 2 months totaling about 2300.00 and prescription food from chewy.com. Don't make the mistake of going it yourself! Spot is best at kitten or puppy stage due to not covering pre existing conditions. If you pet has a clean record at vet you can hop on too with 100% coverages. They check vet records so don't think you can sneak your pet with a chronic condition in. Great company, highly recommend!!!

Repeat Nationwide Pet Customer

We used and were very happy with Nationwide Pet Insurance with our last dog. When we brought Daisy into our family, we knew we wanted to go with Nationwide again. The enrollment process was very easy with helpful customer service.

This was easy to navigate

This was easy to navigate. I really like the family plan, since I have more than one dog. The monthly vs yearly option to pay is nice (I did pick yearly) I really like the coverage options.

Claim Rejection for completely…

Claim Rejection for completely unrelated issue. We had our dog endure a full check up PRIOR to joining Spot Pet Insurance and she was given a clear bill of health. Some months after joining she developed an abscess in her mouth which resulted in her needing surgery to remove the tooth. our claim was rejected because the initial medical report we had done prior to joining Spot had remarked "Minor Tartar" on her teeth. This was enough for Spot to deny the claim. I am extremely disappointed that the link between minor tartar and a severe abscess is reason for denial. This is akin to linking long paw nails to reason for denial of a broken leg. !!
