LONG processing time for claims
LONG processing time for claims, although once approved, they pay (by ACH) very quickly but oh, the processing of claims takes them so darned long! Example is vet visit on July 15, claimed next day and was approved September 8 and paid September 10

Best Insurance Ever!
If only Blue Cross and the other big name insurance companies would learn from Trupanion in how a real insurance company should do business. Trupanion never fights the claim. They process the claim in a timely manner and deposit the money back into my account. The whole process takes maybe 7-10 days. My dog got this as a puppy and we didn’t realize at the time that she was going to have some health problems. If we didn’t have Trupanion we would be suffering financially trying to take care of our little dog.

Ease of filing a claim
I would give Trupanion a 10 for going above and beyond for their helpfulness in helping me filing a claim for the 1st time. Everyone I talked to was so helpful and made the experience of having pet insurance from Trupanion a wonderful experience !!! I would highly recommend Trupanion !!! G.W.
