Trupanion is a scam!
I went in for an emergency laceration. I pay over $150/month for my insurance and have a $200 deductible. On a bill of $882.19 CAD, Trupanion only covered less than half $403.17. Why do you ask? Because they don’t cover the emergency fee $132.74 plus tax nor do they include the tax paid on the total! I pay 13% tax on all Canadian goods and services and I expect my insurance company to include it! And how can you rationally exclude the exam fee? The doctor will need to examine the dog before they operate! This is a scam! Stay away.

My experience so far with Pet’s Best as…
My experience so far with Pet’s Best as been great! I had to file my first claim last year and a second recently. My payment has been fast and fair. We have 6 dogs happily covered under Pet’s Best. Thank you for being there for our dogs!
