Great…..except!
Payment of claim is great even though takes over 30 days often. Support needs improving as being on hold for30-45 minutes is more the rule not the exception. In spite of some shortcomings I would recommend PetsBest at this time

I’ve had Trupanion for going on 4 years…
I’ve had Trupanion for going on 4 years now. Honestly I’d been pretty happy with them Until recently that is. I moved from Oregon to Florida in May. Prior to moving, I contacted Trupanion to inform them of the move and to be sure I’d still be covered etc…. At that time I decided to change the coverage a little which increased my bill from $56 a month to $63 maybe $65 I can’t be sure in any event I was more than happy to make the adjustment for the higher price, I felt confident in my decision…….. HOWEVER, since then I have been OVER CHARGED for 3 months in a row! The bills I get now are $78 dollars which is NOT what I agreed to. I called them the 1st month it happened and each month since and have been told the same things : “oh, we see that you are being charged incorrectly”. “This has to be addressed by someone in xxxxx dept”. “ I will check further into this and get back to you”….. And here we are 3 months later! I’m still being overcharged, still being told I’ll be reimbursed, and still being told I will hear back from someone…. Not once has anyone called me back, the money hasn’t been reimbursed, and again, still being charged the wrong amount! At this point it isn’t even about the money….which honestly isn’t even that much!! ITS THE POINT. Never once, in 3.5 years have I been late on a payment… PERIOD! Even through the Covid-19 pandemic when almost everyone INCLUDING MYSELF was struggling financially, I didn’t miss a beat…. I’m almost to the point of cancelling my policy…. For what TRUPANION? A measly $30 bucks!!!!!

I highly recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance.
While my Australian Shepard, Zoey, was having her teeth cleaned an x-ray confirmed that she had a cracked tooth that needed to be extracted. In addition, surgery to remove a small, precancerous mass on her eyelid was also removed at that time. This routine dental cleaning turned into a pretty expensive medical bill. I did quite a bit of research into pet insurance before selecting Healthy Paws to insure my three dogs. The process for submitting this claim to Healthy Paws was very easy and I was impressed with how promptly the claim was reviewed and I was quickly reimbursed for the extraction and surgical procedures covered by the plan. I highly recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance.

I heard bad reviews about not being being very forgiving for accidents but thankfully I haven’t had to deal with that. I had a couple tickets that weren’t major and my insurance jumped $40 in price and I had to put my other car on comprehensive. Btw sonnet please be more considerate for older cars rather than jacking up the price of older cars. I wish it didn’t cost me $300 just for 1 car and my newer suv being around the same price. For 2 cars it shouldn’t cost $600. May I also mention I’ve been with sonnet for 4 years.
