Super quick service
Our puppy unexpectedly fell ill and it was incredibly stressful. We were also worried about the potential cost. Trupanion seamlessly and rapidly stepped in and covered most of the vet expenses. It was so quick, efficient and helpful during such a stressful time. Amazing service!

Healthy Paws is stellar — covered a $9k emergency puppy surgery!
Thank goodness for this pet insurance! Our puppy had 10 minutes with a new toy and unbeknownst to us, swallowed a good sized piece. Two days later he is almost at death’s door with a blockage, and we had to rush him to the emergency animal hospital. Right then and there, they put a $10,000 hold on my credit card. It was terrifying to know how critical my pet’s health was and also scary the cost of care they told us he needed. Thankfully, his stomach surgery was a success and he’s back to his old goofy self. But then I was bracing myself for a potential back and forth to get the insurance to reimburse because we’ve all heard the horror stories of finding out what’s REALLY covered! I was so happy to say that it was easy and they paid the vast majority of our $9000 final bill (we have 80% reimbursement coverage). It was fast and easy — just upload the itemized invoice and the check arrived a week later— and they even checked via email to see how our pup was doing! Color me SUPER impressed. I have told everyone I know to get their pet covered by Healthy Paws. I never take the time to write reviews like this but they truly deserve it!
