Our service representative was outstanding, extremely patient and excellent at explaining the insurance. She brought in personal experience which made it easier to understand. This is our first puppy so we needed lots of help and she was awesome!! Thanks

New Insurance
I have never had pet insurance before. I work at a vet clinic, get a discount etc, but I have seen first hand so many people not be able to afford care for their pets when they are sick or max out their credit card trying to pay for the tests, surgery, medications etc. It is expensive, and I understand. That is why I chose to get pet insurance on the Great Dane puppy that I am picking up tomorrow!! I pray that there are no problems but I know puppies can get into things, eat things and that results in a very expensive surgery or the emergency clinic.

I am expecting a puppy in August
I am expecting a puppy in August. I have never had pet insurance, and after speaking with Megan (who was FANTASTIC!), I will be getting a game plan together and looking forward to the new addition to our family, and insuring her through Trupanion. Megan... Thank you for making me feel comfortable with asking all my questions, and be so knowledgable.

Avoid this pet insurance
Avoid this pet insurance. Incredibly overpriced, covers very little, and never worth it. You have to pay out of pocket and reimbursement takes a while. Look elsewhere before you're locked in with them.

💸 Waste of money.
💸 Waste of money. Embrace Pet Insurance premiums paid: almost three thousand $. My two dogs received: $0 (100% of claims were denied) Policy duration: 18 months When I filed claims with Embrace, nothing was covered. I wish I had just put aside the money I paid them in a saving account for my dogs. I would have come out ahead in terms of money, time, and emotional energy. Embrace has declined all of my claims for a variety of reasons, including the pre-existing condition of diarrhea. Some might consider that a non-specific symptom, not Embrace. USAA partners with Embrace, which is why I tried their pet insurance. I have been a longtime member of USAA and have been very well supported over the years. Embrace does not live up to USAA's of taking caring of customers in their time of greatest need. Needless to say, I have cancelled my policy for my dog who is living and will be seeking better ways to ensure her health needs are met.
