Customer service people are exceptional! Payment of claims is exceptional! Rates are affordable! We recommend trupanion to anyone consider pet insurance, it¡¦s not an option but a necessity! Trupanion allowed us the freedom to save our 11 month old Great Dane two years ago! A bizarre autoimmune reaction that can happen to any pup nearly took him from us, without proper medical experts to diagnose and treat him we would have lost our beautiful big boy. After $48,000 in treatment all within a matter of days, this is put behind us with no I¡¦ll effects. Claims were paid by Trupanion directly to VCA in less than a minute in every case. We were left at ease to focus on our pup because Trupanion had our back and saved his life! Can¡¦t recommend them enough

Great experiences with Trupanion…
All of my experiences with Trupanion have been excellent. When I use a vet that has the Trupanion software, Trupanion pays the vet directly which is very convenient. When I submit invoices from vets that do not have the software, the responses and payments are quick. Trupanion does a good job of explaining why something is not covered. I very much appreciate the $700 deductible per condition, especially since my dog Bowie has had a continuing respiratory condition year after year.

Trupanion has been amazing, quick and caring.
I am so happy I purchased the Trupanion insurance. The staff are caring and very quick at filling the claims. Almost losing your fur baby is so hard but the stress over the cost is so difficult but having piece of mind with animal insurance is wonderful. I will recommend this insurance to everyone I speak to.

Avoid PETS BEST
Shifted from FIGO to Pets Best after FIGO changed underwriters and raised premiums for less service. This was a mistake, Pets Best have paid nothing on every claim, from regular checkups to non wellness appointments. Worse of the usual Insurance crap, finding every little technical wording to deny everything, what the hell am I paying for if you find some excuse to deny every claim. I'm not a pet owner whose at the Vet every 2 weeks nor is my dog sick often, basic kind of nail bed infection or issue with a tooth kind of visits. Took 6 WEEKS to even process my latest claim and denied everything, half of which under "wellness" checks not covered even though the vet bill clearly states Non Wellness visit, now I have to ring them and argue with some poor phone worker about all this stuff AGAIN. Waste of time, avoid Pets Best at all costs.
