Simple and easy!
The claim filing experience was very simple, and the submission was approved quickly. The money (minus our deductible and co-insurance) was on the way shortly thereafter. Having this pet insurance in place creates great "peace of mind" for us. Thank you Fetch!

Quick response and reimbursement
I downloaded the invoice and sent it and was sent an email right away it was received and would be reviewed within 15 days. I then received an email within 7 days and was told I would have my reimbursement with 3 days and it was there that day. Thank You! I can only hope all transactions are that quick and easy.

Good experience speaking with a Nationwide Rep
The representative I worked with was very helpful and patient in answering all my questions and giving me time to make a final decision. I think it was worth it to call directly to Nationwide instead of applying online, b/c it appears that I received a modest discount compared to the online quote, and I was able to pay for a full year of coverage for my pet with an even bigger discount than paying month to month. I feel confident that I made the right decision, however I have 2 weeks to change my mind.

We had an emergency room visit with my dog for his back problem. The claim process was very straightforward. I emailed them my itemized bill from ER, medical history from our vet, set direct deposit to my bank account and in two days I got reimbursed. Definitely would recommend Spot.

UNABLE TO SUBMIT CLAIMS
I have been with Pets Best for 5 years without any issues until this month. My dog needed eye surgery and I have been unable to submit any claims for this surgery. I have tried calling customer service and keep getting stuck in menus until the system hangs up on me, I've emailed claims@petsbest.com & customerservice@petsbest.com with no answers. I've tried submitting through the website AND app. NOTHING. I'm now leaving bad reviews and terrible survey results in order to get someone's attention to help me. Expensive surgeries like this are the main reason I have pet insurance so the fact that I can't use it for this makes me extremely upset. PLEASE RESPOND.
Worst renewal
We had a generally good experience with Embrace over the years, but this most recent renewal has been a huge shock. While I expect reasonable annual increases, my premium almost doubled—jumping from $250 to nearly $600 a month. What makes this even more frustrating is that my dog had zero claims over the past year. To see a rate hike this extreme without any change in my dog’s health or usage of the policy is unacceptable. At $7,200 a year just in premiums, it is now more cost-effective for me to simply set that money aside in a savings account for vet care rather than continue with this policy. It’s a shame because the service started out great, but these 'sticker shock' renewals make it impossible for loyal customers to stay. If you’re looking for long-term affordability, be wary of the massive spikes you might face down the road.
