Disappointing experience
I’m very disappointed with my experience with Pets Best. First, their mobile app frequently crashes or becomes unavailable, making it impossible to upload claims when needed. A claims process should be reliable and accessible, especially when dealing with urgent pet health issues. Second, almost none of my claims have been completed within the promised timeframe. Instead, I repeatedly receive messages saying, “We Apologize For The Delay.” Delays may happen occasionally, but when it becomes the norm, it reflects poor service and weak claims management. Third, for my most recent claim regarding my dog’s mouth allergy, Pets Best incorrectly grouped it together with a previous seasonal paw allergy claim. These are clearly different medical issues, and this kind of mistake feels careless and unprofessional. Finally, I followed their instructions to mail an appeal letter to the Appeals Department, but the letter was returned because the mailing information was outdated. That means their own contact information was not properly maintained, and the appeal process was unnecessarily difficult and frustrating. Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience. I expected better communication, better accuracy, and a smoother claims process from a pet insurance company.
