Great insurance company
The reimbursement is fairly cut and dry. Easy process. Just put in any notes and there is little issue. It may take more than 30 days but you get your money as long as you have the receipts. Well worth the investment

We have a 15 1/2 year old Labrador Retriever, Angel. We have been with Pets Best her entire life. As she aged, Pets Best continued to provide for her increasing care. The cost does go up over the years, but the peace of mind it buys makes it worth it. We've never had a claim refused. Thank you!

YOU SAVED BELLA'S LIFE
There are no words, but to say THANK YOU TRUPANION! YOU and Bella's Doctors are my hero's. I had purchased Bella's policy 7 years ago after, my 7-month-old Golden Retriever tore her knee and needed TPLO surgery. I sat devested in the Animal Hospital stressed about the bill. It came to over $5000.00. There was a brochure in the office for Trupanion. It was a sign. Literally and Figuratively. That day I signed up. I never regretted the about I spent on the policy. My sweet angel's health was everything. You should allow money to get in between you and saving your pet. Bella for the most part has been very healthy. Never had to use the policy much other than small things, until that one day so unexpected I am truly blessed I had the policy. Bella had to have emergency surgery for a mass that ruptured on her spleen. She was bleeding internally and needed life-saving measures to be done. Trupanion came to my aide. The ADMIN at the hospital got authorization for the surgery and I never had to worry about coming up with the money first. My Sweet ANGEL is alive today because of Trupanion. Her bill was over $21,000.00. They paid all but $1600.00. GOD BLESS. I am a walking billboard for this company. If you don't have TRUPANION, GET IT NOW.

5 Stars for Healthy Paws
Our 4 year old Golden Retriever had to have both rear acl's repaired. We were very concerned for her as she means so much to us. Luckily, we had Healthy Paws Insurance which helped us cover 80% of her surgery costs. They handled her claim within a few days of submission and sent us a check within a week. They covered all of her expenses which included her harness, collar, pills, bandages, etc. They were fantastic and without them we don't know what we would have done. Thank you Healthy Paws.

Simply Outstanding
We have the best lab/shep mix dog in the world. Our girl, Zoe, came to us New Year's Eve 2020 and was supposed to be a 2 week foster -- we failed miserably. No way could we give her up. A few months before her first birthday we noticed she would limp after extended running or playing with other dogs. We took her to our vet and he diagnosed her with ununited anconeal process and urged us to take her to an ortho specialist. We did so and after a CT scan, ortho diagnosed her with "bilateral fragmented medial coronoid process of the ulna with secondary elbow osteoarthritis, bilaterally (BOTH LIMBS). We took her for surgery (ulnar ostectomy - bilaterally) on a Monday - which lasted over 3 hours. She was hospitalized overnight. On Tuesday, we picked her up and paid our bill (over $10k up front). I submitted a claim to Healthy Paws on Tuesday and sent Zoe's medical records on Wednesday. On Friday I received an email that Zoe's claims were approved and on Monday the money (80%) was transferred into my bank account. It didn't even take a full week from the time of her surgery for Healthy Paws to handle everything. I am shocked to see a company this responsive and am so thankful we signed up for Healthy Paws. Day by day Zoe is betting better but will need care from time to time for the rest of her life. I'm glad we're in good hands. The coverage is outstanding and the claim processing time is unbelievable. If you're considering pet insurance (and you should!), please go with Health Paws. They are truly the best. I can't more strongly recommend a company.

terrible customer service; do not communicate; difficult to get claims processed
This company does not communicate. I have sent three emails in past two months without response. Previous to this, had to call and email - as did my vet office - NUMEROUS times before claims were acknowledged. Had to keep prompting them to pay out the claims. Looking for another insurance now for my dog.

The claim took over two weeks I'm not sure where the problem was with the vet clinic or Trupanion but I had to get involved and get the records myself to send for review I don't feel this should have been my responsibility based on the amount I pay
