Covers a lot and the process is stress free
I have had this insurance from when it was called Pet Plan. It recently became Fetch. The customer service has always and still remains excellent. It’s very easy to submit a claim online or using the phone app. They text and email you the status of your claim every few days. It has typically taken 10 calendar days (at most) for me to get my claim approved. I have my debit card saved, so I get a direct deposit to my account the same day the claim is approved - instead of waiting for a check in the mail. They cover alternative treatments that other insurance companies don’t cover. They also cover the fee for a sick visit to the vet. I also like their chat feature online or in the app where you can speak to a representative and have your questions answered immediately. I honestly have no complaints. The whole claims process is stress free which is great because I don’t need any additional stress when my dog is ill. Also, you get a discount on your premium if your pet is a rescue, a therapy animal, or a service animal.

I just canceled my policy with AKC pet insurance
I have a policy with AKC pet insurance for 6 years. I submitted my first claim ever, a few months ago. Reimbursement around 450 dollars. My premium jumped from 79 a month to 101 a month. I expected a slight increase, but not 22%. If it had been a massive claim, yeah, but it wasn't.

Fetch will never let you down
I got fetch shortly after getting my dog as a puppy just over two years ago. I wanted to make sure that if my dog ever got injured or sick she’d be able to have the necessary treatment without me worrying about the cost. In these two years I’ve had to use them twice for emergency vet visits, and each time Fetch was there to help. They covered everything in the exact way their policy states (for me it was 80% of the vet bill minus the deductible) and made the claim process extremely painless. I would recommend Fetch to all pet owners.

Always so kind and professional. It is so easy to make a claim and the explanations are short, to the point and easily understood. I am so grateful that I chose your insurance provider. l

They Need To Be More Transparent With Their Policies
The sales pitch when you get Trupanion is that you can select your deductible and make changes to it and they cover a great amount of your claim. In reality, after 30 days, you are out of luck and can’t make your deductible lower, only higher. They do cover a lot of your claim, but there are ALWAYS meds or fees they don’t cover. So my recent emergency visits of $1300 still cost me almost $500 out the door ($200 deductible, they don’t cover office visit even for emergencies $72, etc). I’d look for a different company if I wasn’t already with them. There has to be a company out there with more clear and accurate pricing details and more transparent up front of what a true claim looks like. I should have done more research to see if this is the best that it gets or if there is a more transparent company.

Requiring a veterinarian to have…
Requiring a veterinarian to have another veterinarian do all exams, diagnostics etc is ridiculous. I understand where you are coming from but there are so many companies that allow us to care for our own pets. It unfortunately does affect the companies that I recommend to clients
